raced a TC SCION lst night....huh ?

i dont think every of us can convince him that dont do street racing. accident is beyond our control. 100% correct. i dont wanna crash my nsx because this is not possible to get another one for myself.
maybe a few times track. but no racing on public road. too dangerious.
maybe try a full accleration myself. racing another isn't worthy.

I raced a BoxsterS last night on the way home from the NSX NE dinner (I was in my RX330), and I kicked his ass. I went by him doing 70mph, while he was getting the ticket on NY87 after he went whipping past me as my V1 was beeping the alert. Oh well, I guess I taught him a lesson!!!!

With that said,
I will keep in mind...
I would not mess with a little panda Trueno
if I was driving through Mt. Akina pass
at 4am in the morning. Trying to outrun that
thing will get you owned!

Watching a lil too much Initial D have we??? LoL

because most of the posts on this thread are actually encouraging and appluading his childish, immature, and dangerous act. my oh my how this site is slowly turning into the kind of site I like to avoid.

BTW, I know you know that.

Scion vs NSX?

Don't show up everyday and you really start to see how Prime is changing.

the age of ownership on these cars are going down.

we'll probably get more & more young "punks" like myself joining the club.

prime is definitly not the price it was 3 years ago when i first got my nsx, some changes are good, some are not. change will happen if we like it or not. for better or worse, its still a great community. there is no law that says people in their 20s cant get along with people in their 30,40,50,60s

a tip for the young owners from a young owner; prime is comprised of mature owners and what may earn props at the civic forums, wont nessary have the same effect here.

good luck and try not to get banned before you get started meeting the great people of prime.

as for the TC vs NSX.

SC and Turbo TC's are all over the place. I never judge a car by its factory rating. Always be ready for a suprise. 8psi will do wonders to any car.

Happy motoring

Rob :)

Going off tangent here, but Nukem....What car is in your avatar. I swear it looks like a sweet photoshop of the HSC. It also looks like a tuned Porsche GT...only BETTER! I would love to get a pic of that car pls:redface:

The law for street racing is very strict now. If you race on the street and the other party crashed and kill himself or someone else Then you will get charge with 2nd degree murder even though you didn't hit anything. Your life will be over. SO is it worth it?

...maybe we should get some drinks and relax? Can I get someone a shot of Grey Goose?

Not that I am condoning this in anyway, but I'm sure a lesson was learned. sokudo88 said the NSX was purchased recently. Being a new owner myself, the pride and joy of ownership fuels the desire for "spirited" driving. Though, I admit, when chance presents itself to me (open roads where traffic is nearly inexistent) I push the NSX a little harder than I normally would.

Thrill seeking varies with age, maturity and the risk(s) that are involved. When you were younger, the thought of families, wife, kids were never part of the equation; Basically, there was nothing to lose but your car and ego. People will eventually learn their lessons and hopefully at their own cost.

IMO.

LOL. yeah, u get nsx. that's a different level than that scion TC. he probably has no chance to own it in his entire life unless he gonna buy a 91-97 after 10 yrs. (nsx will be really old if he does it and not expensive anymore LOL)

Pardon me, but what the HELL is that suppose to mean? Does owning an NSX make you any better than a Scion owner?

That is SO wrong in EVERY sense, how can you be so judgmental? I feel embarrassed for you.

i really feel with that " i really worked damn hard to own nsx"
this is absolutely true. i just get my 97 nsx by myself. my dad will never pay 1 penny for it. even i used my own money to get it, dad still bitching me every day in past 2 weeks. A NSX will always retain its value regardless how old the car will be. The car itself still hold the status of "Super Car" so I do not understand what you meant by "he probably has no chance to own it in his entire life unless he gonna buy a 91-97 after 10 yrs. nsx will be really old if he does it and not expensive aymore LOL"
From the looks of your other posting with sokudo, it seems he got to you pretty good

Moving on...

Watching a lil too much Initial D have we??? LoL

LOL You KNOW IT!
Had to throw a little Tak sarcasm in there.
And just for the hell of it since the ball is rolling now...

Again...
Enjoy, Be well, Drive safe.
Such is my proclamation of NSXxssense.

Here, you don't even have to actively "race". We have anti streetracing (Bill 203) legislation that gives the cops the power to take your car and suspend your license even if you didn't start the engine or leave your house. As long as it's modded, (Aftermarket rims etc) they can do it. They call it "intent to streetrace". as in (Well, it's obviously modified to street race!!"

Sort of like being chrged with rape because you're male.

Ironically, not ONE of the cars involved in the accidents that led up to this were modded!

you people need to make up your minds.

you crucify this guy for speeding on a public road, eventhough he said nobody was around (other than the car he was racing). yet, at the same time, you praise somebody for doing 304kph on the autobahn.

fact of the matter is that it's still a public road, and just because the name of the road is different and it happens to be legal over there, doesn't mean that it's any safer.

that being said.... he sounds like he was being pretty responsible, eventhough he was racing. give him a break.

and as far as the "quality of prime"..... you still opened a thread that said RACED A SCION TC LAST NIGHT. obviously, to some degree, you were interested to see what was said (otherwise you wouldn't have opened it).

Are you serious!! What a ridiculous law. So then if I purchase a (Enter highly modified stock car built for the purpose of pure speed here) then they might as well be waiting for me outside the dealership to lock me up, suspend my license, and take away the keys

And then after I raced the extremely fast Scion TC, along came this 1970 Toyota Corolla, it must have had a V-8, because it really kick my butt, but it was a good race.........

Changing demographics.........

tks for the kinds words. it's all good though. i can take a little bit of bashing. it's not the first time....hehe

but thank you sir !

that's your opinion and im not being immature.

i honestly thought this forum is way better than clublexus.com since people here are more mature.

you dont expect me to pay 5 figures and not have a few funs with it , do you ?

Are you kidding? Making the claim that many Primers feel street racing is bad isn't mature? Have you even read your own posts? Go back, read your posts and you'll realize that you are lying to yourself when you claim that you are "not being immature". I mean really, claiming it's ok b/c it was a freeway or highway vs. a surface street? Do you really think you sound mature to us (and yes, I know your response already - you don't care what we think - and if that is the case, I guess you won't post on this thread again, right)?

You are hanging w/ big boys here. Learn that and you'll do better.

And paying "5 figures" for car isn't that big of a deal. Hell, even a Hyundai costs "5 figures" these days. But, for your own safety and for the safety of others on the road, please don't go racing the next Hyundai you see.

At least don't post it.

gee, another fellow that hates my gutts just for sharing my experience...
what else is next around here?

are you a moderator here?

why? do you feel embarrassed? will it make you feel better if i raced another nsx?

Seriously, no one hates you here. Yes we've all had our little run in's with other people on the interstate, but running home and posting it is another story. I would expect this on some "other" forum that I won't mention, but it just does'nt go over to well here. Thats all.

Wait. I don't "hate your guts" - your immaturity is showing again.

I'm not a moderator here. Prime doesn't require the constant babysitting that is required on other forums you may be accustomed to. The members here do a pretty good job of keeping things in line. I just agree w/ most of the Prime members that street racing is not a good idea. You could hurt yourself and others.

Here are two life rules that most people don't realize: 1. "you are not as smart as you think you are" and 2. "you are not as tough as you think you are".
