I think BladesNSX post was a good one. I agree that we have pretty much beat this sukudo88 thread to death and there is really nothing more to say. It would be nice if it would just end, but the OP keeps coming back with more fuel for the fire.

I kinda disagree with you on that. They are all public roads but are just called different names depending on the area and function. And yes, with a fast enough car you can reach those speeds on streets.:wink:

Oem Sc TC is rated @200+hp I think 205 there are alot of turbo kits and aftermarket stuff that can make thes things go

Ther was a 1000hp Tc on the cover of Sport Compact Car

Kenny Tran...built my 615rwhp 350Z...he's the driver/builder for that scion Tc and it's putting down 1200whp...it's the tacoma built block though...and front end is tube framed...very sweet car...but front wheel drive.

Reminds me of the time I was siting at a light and this modified Chevy S-10 pulls up and rev es his engine I giggle and rev back the light turns green and he takes off spinning one wheel and going threw the gears all while never getting traction. I pull off all normal and pass him, as his drive shaft falls out of the truck and he pulls to the side of the road. I beep as I go by. LOL

At least make it worth the 2k in fines and all those points on your license "come on honestly its a SCION TC"

lets not knock the TC because its a TC. My beater mr2 will give your nsx a spanking. lets not cause its a mr2.

i have a TC coming in the shop in a little bit. will get turboed and tuned and will be taking out nsx around town including my own.

dont under estimate any car just because its a _______.

i think the issue at hand here is not his choice of car, but rather street racing.

maybe it is... if he raced a F430 or a Z06 and won... i think we might all be singing a whole different tune

Who cares what the guy raced. Sukodu, just realize this forum has alot more mature people than most forums out in the interweb. You come here posting like that, you are gonna get shit for it.

Enjoy your car, but be smart about it. I've only had mine for 2 1/2 yrs, and yes it's a blast to drive around. I personally don't race because I don't think it's worth it to lose my car or my life. Parts are not cheap, even a clutch assembly is ~$1200 + labor, I chose to install it myself and it's a pain.

Don't get me wrong and think I baby my car. I push it hard when I get a chance, specially in the canyons. My left fender lip is all beat up and warped because of how hard I drive it. I don't get stupid and cross a double yellow line though.

Just think about what you do before you do it. We dont want to see another NSX added to the salvaged list, and we definitely wouldn't want to lose you. Hang around , read and learn about the different sections of the forum, there's tons of useful information. Read up about the Prime Canyon run we do every year. There's nothing like seeing dozen of NSX's together.

I think you missed my whole point in your attempts to defend the OPs actions - but that is partially my fault for not quoting the part I was talking about.

You will find very few people here who think street racing is a good idea, and no, the attitude doesn't change depending on the car. Let's be a little more reasonable than that.

I'm sure he learned his lesson. If not, he still is a fellow NSX owner. Show him some courtesy. From what I can tell, he hasn't insulted others nearly as much as he himself has been insulted. That simply isn't necessary. Part of maturity is showing both humility and civility. Most primers did just that, a few have not.
