    SOS Stage 3 Begins.

Were the heads removed and springs changed? I'm assuming the heads need removing to change springs.

    2007 European NSX event !!!

I agree. I think it is too ambitious for a first event. A short (days) drive between two destinations seems best. So start in one town stay overnight, then a drive to next location. Stay over again, then lunch/depart for home. Or stay in one small town, and make daily drives out to different...

    Question about driving in Switzerland

All true. If it snows here we just carry on driving on whatever tyres we have. Remember the CRV has more semi-off road tyres than the NS, which has high performance type tyres. What I was really wanting to know, is there a legal requirement to have winter tyres? Every time we have been on...

    Question about driving in Switzerland

As the forum heading says some off topic is ok, I have the following question for the Swiss guys. Me and some friends are driving this year for our annual skiing (well snowboarding) hols. We are going to Verbier. This will be the first time we are driving, we normally fly. So question is, to...

    2007 European NSX event !!!

Something we need to do is work out how we can contact or notify as many NSX owners as we can. There is NSXPrime.com There is the UK club, the NSXCB.co.uk There is the Swiss/Euro club NSX.CH Are there any other NSX clubs in Europe? And can we make contact with them? What about NSX owners who...

    UK Rolling Road (dyno) day

Hi Maarten, I have the headers in the garage, I haven't had time to put them on yet. The rear wing is only used for track days, otherwise I put the standard one back on. More pics and details are on our UK web site; Click here

    UK Rolling Road (dyno) day

Seven NSXs turned up for what was the UK Club's first dyno day. A mix of standard and non-standard 3.0 & 3.2 cars were tested. Here are the videos of each one; http://nsxcb.co.uk/movies/S5NSX.mpg http://nsxcb.co.uk/movies/X626BLB.mpg http://nsxcb.co.uk/movies/BLUE.mpg...

    Fan in engine area

My fan runs at Spa in 2004. It was the only time I have seen it running. It was quite warm that year. It probably doesn't do much when running, I doubt it makes a difference to the engine, but I'm guessing was a safety feature for keeping the engine bay area temp under control. I could say you...

    2007 European NSX event !!!

Yes Honda use the 'ring as a test track. They have a facility there (as do lots of car companies). The NSX was originally developed there as well. As it is a research centre there may be no chance to visit, as the stuff that happens there is secret (they may even have the next NSX there!). I...

    2007 European NSX event !!!

If we go to the nurgburgring, maybe we can get to visit Honda R&D there? Maybe we should call up Detlef, and see if he can help arrange something?

    2007 European NSX event !!!

I agree regarding the track driving. If the event includes a full day of track driving a lot of people can be put off becuase they do not want to track their cars. It is also boring for other people to watch. However, if the event is a 'tour' as described in the first post, it may be possible...

NSXCB (UK NSX Club) new forums

It's hosted on a server by a web hosting company. The server is Linux based. The website itself uses a content management system called Subdreamer. The forums are vBulletin. Subdreamer links into vBulletin, and so the whole site uses the same usernames, and can link into forums and stuff. In...

NSXCB (UK NSX Club) new forums

Some of you already know the NSXCB website. Just to let you know that I have set up a new forum system on the site (which is the same one as used here). The new forum is nicer and has more features than the old site. An upcoming event is a rolling road day on the 30th September. Read all about...

    2007 European NSX event !!!

Dude, the point is to get out and drive the car. Having to go across the channel twice in one year is really not that big of a deal:smile: . Another point is that Le Mans seems mainly a British thing. I mentioned going to LeMans here in June, but had no replies. I guess the other Europeans...

    2007 European NSX event !!!

This sounds great! More UK NSXs wanted to come to Spa this year, but can't. If we organise well, there could be a interest from UK cars to come too. There are UK track clubs that still go to Spa. There is one at the start of September for the weekend.

Problem with Taitec JGTC exhaust hitting Traction Control Bar

Mt JGTC centre exit hits the rear OEM sawy bar (1992) as well. Not much but does touch. Easy fix, was to make two 1/2inch thick alloy blocks to sandwich under the sway bar mounts. Now nothing touches.

    Rear diffuser pictures request

Hi Maarten, I have a diffuser in production at the moment, to go with my wing. Haven't got any pics of it, but it will be like the Aston Martin diffuser. All the GT cars at Le Mans had a diffuser like this. I had plenty of looks underneath them to see how they are. It reaches from the subframe...

oil change completed: but w/5-30 ???

A 5w30 and a 10w30 will have the same viscosity at 100deg as each other. The 5w will flow round the engine quicker at start up and cold than the 10w.

    Le Mans 2006

Does anyone here (apart from the Brits I know) that are going to the LeMans 24 Hours? There's about 6 NSXs from the UK going, though not all as one group. We are having a meet up on the Saturday pitlane walk.

Frost = Cracking Door Mirrors - Difference between UK and USA?

American might need to be told the 'objects in the mirror may be closer than they appear' or something like that, while uk ones don't.

If you go north on the M25 as suggested, you will need some UK money, as there is a toll bridge that way. It costs £1 per car.

Jenson Button and his NSX (UK Article)

It's OK, I'm not having a go at you or anything. However no-one has ever seen or heard about Button having an NSXR. I did see a TV interview when he began at Honda. He was asked what kind of car he has, and it was a Ferrari, he added that he has to sell it, becuase Honda won't let him have a...
