New 2004 nsx build

Ok gotta give an update, still waiting for the paint job, but its ready to go.

but now I have my eye on a wrecked 98 that would have 90% of the parts i need to complete the job. but will have to see if I win it

SO GUYS if your bidding on a 1998 Silver/BlK NSX please save me some money
and dont bid. LOL I need this other NSX and will put that one on the back burner, till I can get to it. Will start another build section for that one. But I think the frame is Bent so it might be a parts car. not sure yet.
 
Ok new update I purchased a 2002 Blk/Blk from Jason,

and I have 99% of the parts I will need to bring this one back to life but

if his wreck is fixable this 2004 will be put on hold for awhile. LOL

but if its not worth it this thread will get pounded with new pics.

now his engine and tranny have 50K miles So I dont think I am gonna put his engine in this 19K mile car. just the burned peices will be swapped.
and then his car will sit for parts or I might change my mind and slowly buy parts for it and build it to working order.

Just so everyone knows Jason's car Will drive again one day I Promise. even if I sell every part off the car and all thats left is a frame. and then I will have to purchase the parts to put it back together again. LOL

but I need to get this 2004 up and running again and sell it or keep it.

I dont know what the hell I wanna do anymore LOL to many options in my life right now. and I am getting married in August so planning a wedding
etc. etc is killing my free time for my projects.

But I officially own the most wrecked NSX's in the USA LOL I dont know if that good or bad.. hahha

its not Officially dead. just slowed down a little. LOL

Ok I purchased Jason's NSX I flew into Cali and drove it from California to Tampa. I got back yesterday at 4pm. The whole ride home this 2002 drove straight and true I dont think there is frame damage, the insurance company looked at the car and said just total it, dumb ass move in my book this car was totally fixable.

but I must part it out. it makes me sad but It will drive again I promise.

anyway I now have all the parts i need to complete this 2004 Build

Pics will be coming soon. I just wanted to update this thread

now this 2004 build will have all OEM parts, and I will be using the original Motor and Original transmission.

looking at Jason's engine it is MINT so this 2004 will be up and running soon.

on the way home people are like man what happend to your car.

driving it home from Cali to Tampa people would take pics on the highway
it was funny.

this car looks perfect intill I pass you in it. haha

also didnt know the speed limit in TX is 80 during the day and 65 at night. funny

thanks DOC I got the thing up to 110 but didnt wanna push it as its aerodynamics were shot LOL

yeah I flew in thursday left cali about 3PM pst time and made it home saturday 4pm est time

what a drive, I drove straight thru the night on friday

I saw 4 cops the whole way from east coast to west.

but this car is for the 2004 build. but I will keep this 02 on the back burner
for the future so it will be whole again maybe in a few months,

my Bank Account is dead again. ughhh my wife-to-be is really starting to eye all my NSX's but when she sat in this one she said I want this car

so I said OK I will keep it but you cant drive it till its all fixed. hahha
she said OK so Im good.

Guys if you ever wreck your NSX KEEP it I will by it from you. top dollar
ask Jason I handed him a check for a huge ammount we went to the bank and cashed it ,he handed me the keys done,

which by the way he now has a new LBBP SC NSX in his driveway the next day.

hope i didnt ruin his surprise thread as a new owner

At least the fiance appreciates the NSX... I guess she has no choice being surrounded by so many. I hope you made her understand just how rare they are and how lucky you are to have 3 lmao!

Way to go, Shawn. Driving from Cali to Florida is definitely a journey. Did anyone actually roll down their window during the drive, and asked if you were okay? :cool: Do the rear tail lights activate to drive at night?
