No - I suggested the title is insensitive to the horrible tragedy and the innocent victims who remain hospitalized. Your title only mentions "One less Viper in the world" as if that even matters or that somehow we would find any amusement in that. Imagine if you personally knew any of these...
Ouch - terrible tragedy for all involved (especially the innocent). Perhaps a better title would be "street racing again kills a racer and injures several innocent people". Some people might read your thread and think you only care about the car and not the many victims.
Great "alternate" suggestion. I really like the initial bite and the linear feel of the HP Plus at the track and don't mind the extra dusting and noise (bearable for me so don't have to have 2 different types of pads for street/track)
I will have to try the "new and improved" GT Sports pads...
I had to remove mine at the track for overheating. I also have to remove my front Dali plate on the track.
Part of the problem might be the loss of efficiency of my original radiator (fins bent, etc).
YMMV
I am on the track Friday only - praying for dry and waiting till Thursday night figuring out if I want to mount the slicks or just run the stock Yokos. Damn I hate Gateway in the rain. I am 100% for rain day spin outs and luckily I haven't kissed anything. :frown:
I was watching this on replay at a Red Robins with the kids. It was before he had died so they were still showing it. There was no sound and I didn't know it was a replay and all I can say is "shi@$#" when they hit. My second thought was "what in the hell happened?".
On the replay the white...
Oops - I meant to compliment the OP for an awesome setup. Far better quality then most movie theaters and looks awesome. Also - love the Italian villa too!!! Keep up the great work.
Signed AVS wanna be!
I have a Media Center that I have been using for over a year. It feeds my Bose system and 46' Plasma. It also serves media to the deck and kitchen through wireless audio media extenders, a kids TV through Ethernet, 3 PCs (ethernet/wireless).
The true magic of the system is I have replace 6...
Well if it is going to be another LarryB man-love thread so be it!
:)
Larry is the best. You all within 500 miles don't know how lucky you are!!! There is no way to thank him for all the patient and free advice he has given hundreds of people on this board and we are all smarter for it.
I know it is not as cool but there is nothing more functional then a Honda Minivan. My wife and I wouldn't last a week without ours and the auto sliding doors protect the NSX from dings. The new ones are especially nice.
We love it too! The German guy that runs it also runs Mosaic downtown and they do Euro Tapas and have a great environment too.
My favorite is still Modesto on the Hill. Awesome! The chef Grace is incredible. She got the job when the head chef quit and she was the sou (sp?) chef. They...
Wow - makes me want one!

Sounds perfect for a daily driver!
PS: There is NSX content if you look really really close!
;)
I think the worst thing (for me) about this story is the fact that the article implies that Len3.8 was a happy customer from St. Louis and drove his bulletproof 500HP Turbo NSX cross country. I read this and posted here all excited because it seemed to me that everything was perfect with the...
Wow is right. I thought the same thing about GJ's shop. When I posted this I had NO idea that GJ had these terrible accusations out there. Oh how the mighty have fallen on this board starting with Corky Bell, then MB, then FactorX, then GJ. Not to mention all the one offs by Larry G...
I ran today in the St. Louis St. Patrick's Day 5 mile race and had the family all there with me. I have been doing this on and off for well over 10 years and it was the largest race in St. Louis history (well over 7,000 runners!). The weather was PERFECT and we all had a great time watching...
I did this as well with some buddies. It became a test of manhood to see who could keep the green light on the longest. I had a meat hangover for 3 days!
