Hey , I got the carbon double scooped hood and wing put on today ,I also got the seats back (less headrests,sills,both glove compartments and door inserts) we are about 40% there.What a huge difference in look.I "might" have the upholstery done as of tomorrow.Either way the car will be complete w/ side steps,snorkle scoop,rear spats and interior for next weekend!
Sean are you going to be out tomorrow?Or Saturday?

Sounds awesome, can't wait to see it!! I had my car get its oil changed and rear hatch and trunk struts replaced. I saw the SoS NSX there today and I met Chris, hes a really nice guy, and that car is awesome!
Tonight (Friday), my friends band is having their CD Release party at the Big Fish Pub, so thats where I will be tonight. Tomarrow (Saturday), I am going up to Flagstaff for a car show that my friends club at NAU is putting on, they said they would really really like to see an NSX there, so I will be up there all morning, and I will be back sometime in the afternoon. If you are gonna be anywhere tomarrow night, let me know.
 
yea , I went to a show today and took 1st in Best Sportscar.It's 600 pm now and I'm preparing for the 8-12 show at alma/southern maybe I'll see ya there.

well, just got home last night.long flight. glad to be home, i go back to arizona on friday. going to see my friend today, hes got the marga hills bodykits.also busy putting together my internet auto business. have to get my nsx in order so i can put a stop to all this car show winning!lol. talk to you guys soon.allan

I'm just trying to play ''catch up'' with Bill, and I'm sure you'll just smoke the $h*t out of me when you get your project going. Although, I will claim the high milage tital, if that counts for anything.

The show should be at lot # 59 opposite the stadium (where we all got discharged from)

well, i saw the marga hills wide body fenders yesterday. i know he has those. i dont know if theyre here in carbon fiber though. the fenders are bolt on, and bolt in though. i didnt know that. i know i can save you the shipping from japan atleast, which is like 800.00 bucks. do you have to have carbon fiber? im going to go with fiberglass, because the carbon weave always shows through the paint. my old porsche we did all carbon, doors,hood, fenders etc, body cost 20,000. and no matter what you could always see the weave in the paint. i also saw the nsx front nose piece.awesome. call me on my cell today.
 
All I need will be the 4 corners(two front fenders and 2 rear quarters) .I want to leave them in carbon (un-painted) .I know they have to be out there somewhere.I want to leave the doors alone possibly the carbon nose I would like to add.Any ideas.

It shows through on the Ferrari F40 (and F50?), mainly for weight-savings. Kit-car cool or whatever, but it isnt't necessarily a bad thing

i agree that it looks good on a pagani,which costs north of 400,000. but the quality of the carbon fiber on regular parts leaves something to be desired.when someone is making a 1000 part the quality is far worse than on a car such as the pagani. every part ive seen has patch marks. by the way, have you ever ssen a pagani? i have, very cool car, although in some ways a little kit carish.but very very cool.

Tomorrow starts at 7am for registration probably goes on till 3 pm.Then trophies ect.We just finished and it was hell to get here.Thank God I was in San Fransisco (did I spell that right?)
Anyway the car is basically done (less supercharger) We need to re-adjust the carbon buckets the have a high corner but she'll fly for now.I hope to see ya' at the show!!

OK ,we got a re-schedule for two weekends from now.The lot# 59 show is off until 2 weekends from now(permit problems).Thats fine possibly we'll get the charger installed by then.
We'll see you this evening at Alma & Southern in Mesa.

Whats goin on with the Alma School and Southern, or should I say, whats NOT going on. I show up around 9:30 and no one is there, except a few cars and a police van. Please don't tell me those bastards are kicking everyone out of that area too!
And I was looking forward to seeing your car with new sideskirts also!
 
If I had your # I would had called ya' I'll have to put in in my phone.There was some stupid fight there last weekend so everyone got the boot.We were instructed by the police that everyone was to go to Cooper and Warner and about 100 cars trucks and imports did show up there.It was a good night ,sorry we missed ya' but theres always next weekend or possibly during the week if ya' wanna see it.
