As far as your friend talking about you behind your back, I would talk to him straight up and ask him whats goin on, and tell him to atleast have some decency and stop bad-mouthing your business.
You definately do not come off as an a**hole or cocky, (I'm actually surprised at how nice you treated me despite my age and the usual stereotypes that go with it)

Yea,I very rarely seek outside validation or someone elses objective view "but" being tired I sometimes slip up and can get a little of the beam(sometimes more than a little) although I always see it some times after a couple minutes and then a quick ammends is generally all it takes.
I was exhausted after the show and have not really had a chance to re-coupe.And have had a hard time letting this go.You know when you start rehearsing an argument in your head ...this lets me know I seriously need to look at me and let it go quickly so I can move on to the next constructive thing to do.

hey guys. whats up? glad to hear about the show! good job! im going to have to make my nsx a supercharged widebody and give you a run for your money the next time! i leave to flordia tommorow, and my friend said hes got a bunch of parts there for it already. im going to take the lambo out for a spin tonight, my last one for a little over a month. im sad, think im gonna cry! lol. its funny, i went through all that trouble getting that nos and race gas a few weeks ago and still havent raced anyone. i was next to a viper gts trying to get him to go the other night and he just kept giving me the thumbs up.almost not worth having nos here. maybe im just not going to right places.oh well, talk to you guys soon.allan
 
Hey Allen thanks for congrats.I was gonna call you and see if you were in Florida yet.
Yea you'll need a widebody kit to catch me..:) (all you needed to do is show up @ the import show and I woulda' been smoked)The only thing I could possibly do on the car "after my parts come next" week is a widebody ,which originally was the plan.We have room for expansion .... PS how much can you get me the kit for and whose is it?

hey guys im in fla. whats going on there? i saw some of the parts for the nsx yesterday. looking good! i miss my diablo already though. im going to go buy 2 remote control cars today, one is a lambo gtr and the other a porsche turbo. they also have these cool remote control cars called mini z racers. they are really small and they have a nsx. thinking about building a little track in my back yard to race them on.i also saw a new nsx on the road, i really like those lights. i may go see my friend at the lambo dealer here and test drive a murcielago. when i was in scottsdale, they had a yellow roadster with a cool race wing and 19 inch lowenhart wheels. i was tempted to trade mine in for a second, but when i got home and looked at it, decided not to. something about the sv i guess.i love the style. if you guys could have your ultimate garage what would it be filled with? mine would be diablo sv,diablo roadster,countach,murcielago,ferrari f40,all done up nsx,and a ruf porsche turbo. now i just have to make more money!allan

I did go to the "After Pavillions" car show.@ Alma School Rd and Southern.There was a great turn-out possibly 100-200 cars I figured .I was beat tired and woke up @ 4:30 to go to the "Low Rider and Import show"at the state fair grounds.
YES ANOTHER 1ST' PLACE TROPHY.(no cash) but it was a lot of fun and I got the opportunity to speak w/ 3 different judges and picked there brains on how to gain that edge in points etc... Well it paid off.
IN THE NAME OF "NSX" I CROWN THE 1ST PLACE!!

Seriously you have NEVER seen "enormous amounts of mods and customizing until you get up close on a Low Rider show.I know its not most of our style but "DUDE" you have got to see .... Just the displays are beautiful.
I'm not talking about the crap you usually see on the street.These cars deserve a huge applause.

Hey,Allen we miss you (I think I'm gonna cry...) Just kiddin' dude .Enjoy you wedding and big congrats!!! Make sure you drink one of those tropical drinks w/ the umbrella in it on me (send the bill to ABC Plumbing) :)

congrats on another victory! im bored out of my mind here. there is a cool post on the supraforums.com about them racing john hennesey in his 800hp twin turbo viper and beating him. he even wrote in saying it was true. its in the general section. i guess the guy he raced is from az. otherwise i cant wait to get back and play with my cars!allan
 
I'm usually kinda' bored in Florida too.But don't you have the usual friends/aquaintances to go out w/ while your there.
You can always go and rent a Ferrari or Diablo etc.. Or better yet a helicopter!
If the stress of being car-less gets to much let us know we will drive your cars across to you (me and sean) .It'll be like the cannonball run.Rotating shifts driving we'll havem' to ya' in 3 days.
Whatdoya say Sean are you up for it???

hey guys. the above asked for supplies are in the mail. i have also included a blank check for any unforseen expenses,ie.strip joints,hookers,food,etc. should be there soon, i fed exed it. im bored in fla, running around looking for a tt supra to buy if i can steal one.also might be picking up a 01 360 modena for alissa's uncle. not really my cup of tea(boring car compared to the diablo) but itll do for a week of driving!looking forward to getting back to az and hooking up my nsx, and pulling off the diablo intake and having it extrude honed.did you guys see the thread on the supra forums about them racing the twin turbo hennesey viper? supposedly they kicked his ass.pretty cool.allan

Go to Encounters in Pheonix and get strait to the point.Women are there to F$#K.

There are strippers there that practice there too if thats what your into.Theres huge screen TV's playing different porno movies all night to get everyone in the mood and keep them there.
Buffet food is included,all the non-alcholic drinks are included.(If you need to drink to loosen up thats what the parking lot is for.)
plus the rooms are included and cleaned after every event...get it.
Theres a voyer room (seriously) which if your into that thats usually open for outsiders to join in and or watch...
Now if I was not engaged and my fiance' didn't have LO-JACK,TACTICAL TRAINING,AND WELL VERSED IN INTERRIGATION TECHNIQUES I would be there w/ you.

KENNY GOINS FROM GOINS AUTOMOTIVE GROUP will be doing a photo shoot of the NSX tomorrow at 5pm in the east valley.Then posting it on his website as well as on his business card.I told his main guy at the shop to take care of you and my friend Hector who owns a detail shop and shows w/ us.If you need detailing hes the guy.

I got together w/ my interior guy today and we will complete the interior within 3 weeks.I will have the rear wing/fixed headlights/and double scoop carbon hood next week.We are preparing for the 2nd'Smackdown Jam car show in 30 days April 27th.In Tempe.Possibly the snorkle/side steps/and rear spats by the show but probably not.

Hey did you get a remote with the DVD player you bought? Or do you just use the Remote you got when you bought the NAV Package?
I am talking to Chris about purchasing my unit (without NAV for now), but wasn't sure how the remote would work...thought I would ask you. Also did you connect your dvd to the rest of your sound system so you can hear it all? Getting ready to make a big purchase is always nerv-racking for me...
 
I here ya' on the nerves(all your doing is crossing the T'S and dotting the I'S)IMO.The DVD I purchased comes w/ its own remote.
Russ from Audio Express (scottsdale)was able to tie the sound from DVD into the CD wire in the rear and created a bypass switch that alternates from either DVD sound to CD sound.There are other ways to do it but I don't see any problem w/ this for me.I didn't want to start tearing the car apart .I have a very busy schedule for the "banana" and can not have the car down at this time for long periods.Tim Millazzo should be able to help you w/ the DVD.I just purchased one from him w/ TV capacity for the Cobra.
PS.... the VCR is for sale for 200.00

Ya, Basch Boost is still #1 on my list. I am waiting for Jane to call me back to see when she can get me in, I know there is a lot of people in front of me, so if I can get in sometime soon, then I will do it A.S.A.P., if not, then I will schedule my appointment anyway, and go with the DVD/CAMP setup, and then by the time the supercharger is ready for my car, I would have enough $$ to get it. So for now, it's all a timing issue, but I haven't done any mods for about 8 months, so if I don't do the DVD, and the BB is only a month or so wait, then I might lower the car and put those ARC Titanium Cat-Bypass pipes on and some Wings West side skirts (thats why I asked about the body shop earlier)...just to hold me over
What do you think??
 
sayonara, wait with getting the side skirts till i get back. ive already seen the ones here and they are awesome, and also the hood.you could probobly get the whole body done for less than the dvd/navigation system. remember, it is better to look good than to feel good!
 
Mark had told me that the cat -bypass pipes "on the NSX" are useless basically.Scrap that idea IMO and take the extra lute and deal w/ Allen and get the better(the wings west skirts "look " as cheap as they are,they have very little presence/dollar) side steps,(leachers etc...)
Screw the nav,do the pod and DVD,The nav system is a chunk of lute and you can enjoy the pod dvd,tv,camp for probably about 1 grand VS'S 4 grand,you see and you can add it on later when you got the $$$.
If your gonna negotiate w/ Ken I suggest you get to his shop ASAP while he's in the helping mood he's in.

i agree the wings west stuff is worthless, might as well stay stock.id skip the navigation system myself also, get a compass and a cell phone! no yellow 348's yet. im looking though. dont forget about my 5000.00 finder fee.lol. today i am finding out about making billet aluminum interior pieces for the nsx. like the knobs and stuff.actually looking to have them made for hondas and stuff, nsx is just a bonus.what else is going on? i heard there is a purple diablo sv running around scottsdale now. that would be my friends car from fla. he sold it. cant wait to tell the new owner of the abuse that car took!monday i should be going to drive the new lambo murcielago. cant wait.
 
Yes Allen I heard the same news about "Barney the Purple Dinesuars Diablo" news travels quickly.
Dont get me wrong I love the Navigation .I think its price is outragious.It should cost a 1000.00 "not" 3000.00-3500.00 There for if the budget is limited I would prompt to spend the lute some where else.
I went cruising to "MR SUSHI" in pheonix last night ,the chef Tony is the MAN.GODDAMM that place has the best sushi in the valley.
I set my suspension on the softest setting and it is extremely plush.Maybe a whisper less floating than stock .I'll try as hard as possible settings today and tell you the magilla.
Im gonna go out side and clean-up the NSX then hit the show /cruise/and the other show.
I heard there was another show this eve (other than Alma/Southern) around Ray or Chandler and 40 street in Awatuki.

Thanks for the advice, my main question about the side skirts though is that dont you think the car would look weird with just side skirts on it (Like the Lechers or Marga Hills..etc...) that's why I was looking at the WW ones, because they are more low-key (but I didnt know the quality sucked, so maybe I will skip them). I am still not sure about the which front or rear body kit I would get. Although, I will tell you Allan when I want to get that cool 2-scoop hood.
Anyway, as for the NAV, ya I would go without it, and am just waiting for Jane to call me back probably on Monday, if I can get the supercharger soon, I will skip the DVD thing, if I have to wait 4 months, I will get the DVD/CAMP and maybe lower my car.SO MANY CHOICES, not enough $$$.

Sayanara, I'm gonna take the leachers side steps and use the wings west rear spats along w/ the front lip my carbon guy is designing a (non-drop)front lip w/ tunable support rods along with the already installed carbon canards.That will be the kit or mixture of 3 kits.
