My cordless impact wrench is limited to 200ft lbs, so I might be using a breaker bar instead. Is it recommended to break the nut with the car on the ground and wheel attached? And I assume the spindle would come out freely once the end nut is removed?
Following steps:
1. Unstake the end nut...
I've managed to change my rear rotors and brake pads without issue, but I am a bit nervous to make an attempt at taking out the rear axle nut. Need to remove the axle nuts so I can have access to the spindle and replace two rear studs.
Does anyone happen to have the part number for the axle...
If the cruise and horn buttons are not working, than most likely it'll be your SRS cable reel.
Have you checked the SRS fuse itself? (Drive side kick panel).
As I was looking over the photos, the same idea came to mind. What if the store was inaccessible to her and this was her only channel of ordering take-out? I'm blinded to realize any humor from these photos.
dawk,
Is that your X in your avatar? If you don't mind, can you post a few photos of it as I really like the stance and bodykit.
Sorry to go OT.. back on subject
Hi. Was re-installing my stock steering wheel and I might have snagged or "stretched" my cable reel. Have the exact issues of this thread here.
Will be ordering a replacement tomorrow. I was wondering if any NSX owner has installed a cable reel before or have diagrams go to about doing so...
David,
I've looked over the service manual (PDF) and didn't see a diagram for the cable reel. Do you happen to have an excerpt or page number?
Thanks first.
Thanks that's exactly wat I was looking for. To the Op, did the new cable reel resolve it issue? I am having similar problems with my 99 as well. I was swapping steering wheels when this happened.
