    Interesting 1988 Saab Video

Interesting video, Ken. I have a similar video that was made for promotional material in Taiwan during the mid 90's when they were beginning to market Saabs there. It is of the newer model 9000's and they get even crazier than in that video. Really does show you that it IS about driver skill and...

Fair Market Value for 80K Mile '97 ??

I would be damn surprised with a mid 30's selling price. So his 97 is basically worth as much a a similar 94? Or is a 94 with those miles worth about low to mid 20's? That would make a 91 worth about 12-15k, right? You know of any 97 cars selling for those prices? But then again, this is just...

Fair Market Value for 80K Mile '97 ??

AaronB, I agree that your car is priced fairly as well. Just hang in there. There are very few people that are willing to by a five year old car with 80k miles for the price of a new Mercedes. I'm in your same situation. My 97 yellow is listed w/paintwork and 49k miles and I am still waiting...

Consider Buying a '91 NSX Need Help!

A friend of mine checked out that car the other day. Sounds pretty shady. He told me that the car has a total repaint and frame damage, "custom" interior, etc. The guy originally contacted my friend about his M3 for sale and offered him $4k below his reasonable asking price! when my friend...

    My car is wrecked

Sorry to hear that, NetViper. Definitely give the paintless dent removal guys a try. A good one will be able to tell you right away if it can be done without starting on your car first. From the pictures, it looks pretty borderline for paintless removal, though. Landlord's insurance will not...

a 1997 nsx with 817 miles for $43k, too good to be true?

What makes you assume that you are so much younger or well off than anyone here? By your terminology and language, I am guessing that you are from 16-21? I for one am not a middle age loser, and am probably younger than you. I also know that there are very few people that are "well off" living...

a 1997 nsx with 817 miles for $43k, too good to be true?

Hey, dumbf***. Don't forget your earlier post: "when i came up with the price check the blue book and low blue book was 47,000" You talking about Edmund's now? So I don't think I need to "get off my clouds" How about you just get off the forum? (and learn how to spell while you're at it)

    Car wont start help please.

I feel it's the aftermarket alarm as well. Try unplugging your battery for a while then try it again. I am not sure how DEI works, but I had that problem on countless cars and it usually is the alarm.

a 1997 nsx with 817 miles for $43k, too good to be true?

Tom, That's right. We have determined that at least 2 of the 31 1997 NSX's produced in Blue are junk. I actually know of a third one in my area that could be added to the list as well. So, 3 of the 31 are questionable, or their owners are, at least. Must be something about that blue paint! Chris

a 1997 nsx with 817 miles for $43k, too good to be true?

I don't kow what Kelley Blue Book you use, but the low book on that car is about $10,000 higher than your $47k figure.

    Best home refinancing deal?

I've had good luck with Countrywide. They have an office in Concord on Willow Pass Rd. Check their website at; www.countrywide.com. If you have excellent credit (720+ FICO), they are real easy to work with and have good rates. Ask for Scott Treff. He's been working with me and has been pretty...

    Intergrated Control Circuit?

Jackson, I agree with NSXMAN. I had a similar problem on a MBZ and I replaced the whole stalk and it worked fine. I wouldn't go as far as replacing it on the NSX just yet. It may just be a faulty connection since everything else works, or some gunk got in there and is breaking the connection...
