Why are COPS such little people?

just saw this little police car camera clip. i must say i am a little angered by it.

are we, as taxpaying citizens, helpless to let these "authorities" step all over people? does anyone deserve to be treated like this?! what makes these people think they have the right to attack/hurt people in a situation like that? seems to me that some officers, not all have the attitude that they are above people?!

It is what happens when you can act largely without consequence. A friend of mine who was an Indiana State Police officer actually quit because he could not take the intense double standard that was part of his daily life. He said that he had not seen so many laws broken by people that were supposed to uphold them.....grrrr.

Cops are the kids we all used to beat up in school and they now feel that since they have a badge, they have power over us. I would love to tell them to meet me in a dark alley and take that badge off to remind them of how they used to get their asses kicked. They have short man syndrome and abuse their power so they can feel like more of a man.
perhaps you'll get your wish as i've forwarded your post via email to the van nuys police department.

good luck with your "ass overwhelms mouth" syndrome.

WoW! are you like 19 years old or something?..as a stated representative of Keyes Acura you really should keep from saying really stupid stuff like this, I'm sure the Service Manager would be really impressed to see the dealership represented to a lot of NSX owners with this kind of meat headed crap.

About 3 weeks ago my 5 year old son was at a local fair with my family and there was some confusion if he was with me or my wife...he was walking around by himself actually...he found a cop and then he and the cop spent the next 1.5 hrs looking for me or my wife...when they found me the officer was very nice and gave my son some stickers and said "have a nice day"...he didn't preach at me about keeping an eye on small children better or anything...he was just very courteous and smiled.....so I guess he must not have been having a flair up of "short man syndrome" that day.

There were many police officers that died trying to save people on 9/11 ..did they do that because they had "short man syndrome"?

sure there are cops out there that do not have the proper attitude...but to say things like you did is just juvenile.......

"better to say nothing and be thought a fool then open your mouth and remove all doubt."

People need to take accountabilities for what they write. By trying to weasel their way out, it will only make them looking like fools. Humility comes from wisdom.

agreed on both points, steve.
