Why?any ideas on a fuel cell? I'm thinking right behind the radiator.
Why?
Stock location would probably be the best. It's in a great location.
Curb weight on my car according to the manual is 2976, the car should weigh
2845.3 after modification. Since most of the really heavy stuff like the spare tire and the AC are up front what else can I do to try and balance it out?
I'm not a big fan of loud exhausts and so on although I love the sound of the GT One F1. I already have poor hearing and don't want to make the situation any worse.
Or Kevlar bladderFuel cell equals fuel tank with rubber bladder
Lol at turbos hydrogen fcx clarity equals hydrogen fuel cell
+1 Taking more weight off the nose of the car is fine.Guess in 19 years i've never looked at the weight in the manual. I've been using 3010. Can anyone reconcile this? Honda adding in floor mats, CD player and other things? I'd love to start with the manual number in my calc.
Regarding the "imbalance", you should probably go the the track talk section. I've already done these mods and have done two track sessions since. But i would think this small change will be overshadowed by your own personal track experience as to how much understeer you want or need for your skill level. Sway bar changes would be the course of action i would think. I did lose the back a couple of times, but i lost the back a couple of times with the stock vehicle also, but never any spins. Tires and of course alignment settings could probably do this also. I wouldn't worry about it. The loss of weight should be a net POSITIVE.
I noticed a huge difference in ride quality and suspension response when I put the BBK on.

So were they worse or better?
LOL ??? damn, I don't get it
so what DID u remove ALau99 ?
ALau99 you win the prize - as the most cryptic poster on prime!
I've still got no idea what you're talking about.
The early models with manual steering are the lightest and that accounts for the difference between 3010 lbs and weights below 3000 lbs on stock cars.
The Honda advertised weight was 3010 on the early cars which were ALL manual steering. Don't understand your post.
Check NSX Wiki. Weight listed 2,976 lb
Did anyone remove the headlight lens/bulbs/and wiring parts; thus leaving the brackets and covers?
I plan on doing this and just getting piaa fog lights as my headlights and mounting them in the bumper.
chime in please.
