Hey guys...I have already posted these pics but here they go again. I have a big poster of a Acura NSX-R comin g this week that I will get dry-matted and will mount up. If only I could get the big Acura NSX emblems like one of the garages here then my garage will be pimped out!

Below I have listed my link to the pics.

Hey guys, this thread really got me thinking... if you are interested in the cool NSX/ACURA/Symbol garage wall hang logos, I'm gauging the interest on mass producing a group buy. Check out this thread for details. If enough people are interested, I'll make a batch for a group buy.

I think the garden tools on the wall are a nice touch

Seriously I lust for a house with a 4 bay garage. You guys put me to shame I think I will epoxy my floor...red so when I bleed on the car I wont go into shock.

I'm putting a Sorcery wide body kit on it this winter (snows a lot in WI you know)

About the top, I'm not sure. I like it both ways. I guess it will depend on the wheels etc.

Oh, I get it, You were tallking about the Flinstone car. Good one.

Do those pot lights brighten up the garage to the level that four or six 4 foot flourescents would?

I don't know if it's "more" light but it is a lot more even (less shadows etc.).

I put the new compact flourescent flood bulbs in last week (all 16 of them $$). It's much less orange and more white.

You all have inspired me to make my garage my next "project"

Nice!! BTW does the opoxy application fill in all cracks in the slab? I am tring to decide between the opoxy or tiles. I have a rise in the slab on both sides of the garage that elevates 2 inches or so as it reaches the side walls. Unless the tiles are flexible Im not sure how they would look around the perimeter. Your suggestions are appreciated.

Yes it will...

Jeff is in Detroit right now, so he may not be able to post for a few days. I will start the story of his garage....

When he was building his house, the garage needed 2 cement trucks (over 1000 sq ft + steps) The first truck dumped, and the workers were waiting and waiting for the second truck. Every summer in Oshkosh there is this HUGE country music festival, and truck #2 got stuck in traffic near this event. (wrong place wrong time)

Truck #2 showed up very late... (this is where the mistake was made) The truck should have NEVER dumped its 1/2 cured load, but it did. The workers had lumpy oatmeal as a topcoat of cement! Needless to say, his garage floor was f'd up.

After several fights with the concrete sub about their half assed grinding and polishing, they ended up agreeing to do epoxy. Even after a full epoxy coat, it was still not smooth. They had to do it at least one more time possibly two (Jeff will have to clarify). There were low spots that had 1"+ of depth. After a few self leveling coats, and some grinding, he now has a near perfect floor!

If you have serious depths, a few thin coats of Epoxy will eventually make a perfect floor.

Tom (RP-Motorsports) was right. We had a mess to start with. When you build a new house you want everything perfect, you know. Our builder ended up covering $5000 of the $6500 total bill. I agreed to pay the diference sence I would have a much better floor that what I was planning on. Now it's like dance floor...

We had a commercial epoxy flooring company come in to do the work. I learned a lot about epoxy floors from those guys. They dumded over 35 gallons (about $3000 worth) of epoxy just to level the 3 car stalls before putting the finish color coat and texture on. Those kits you buy at the home impovement store are fine if your floor is nice and level to begin with but if you have any uneveness it can look really ugly. I had a friend try to do it himself with one of those kits and it started pealing within a year. Could have been the prep, who knows.

you guys are giving me the urge to do this when I get my house......I think I am going to have to start one too....great job guys!......you guys are the man!

Well, I can finally say my garage is *almost* complete... now that I have my X to fill it! Here's the updated look.
