Rocker Panels

B-rad said:
How would the Rocker Panel look with the vent and not installing the piece on the door.
Here's a combination of the photo above and one when Stacy had no panels on:

(Edit: I think Stacy is right, it looks better with the door panel. The oem '02 update has those panels too, for the same reason.)

The only problem with that is the rockers will stick past the door around 3/8 of an inch.In my opinion I wouldn't do it!
My question would be why not do the up-date.Gives you that '02 look with an aftermarket skirt.
Again any questions I can be reached at

or by private message.

Stacy I just came back from Japan and visited GT ROM aka GTOne and Sorcery and I showed them on prime your work and they were very impressed !
I also had a look at there side skirt and the quality and fitment were excellent.

One thing I forgot to mention was that I will be selling each piece individually should(god forbid) something unfortunate should happen. That way you won't have to buy a complete kit again and because I am fairly local (LOL) to you all,I can have a part to you within' 5 days by ground and for those in a real panic(with lots of money)we offer air(overnight).
Thanks to B-rad for stepping up for his kit.
The molds are in the works as we speak. For those who want the skirts without vents, they are ready to go.
Stacy

Here are a couple of pictures of the "New Style Vented side skirts"
These are the actual skirts,no photoshoping done. The door pieces are not on in this picture but will be included in the kit.Anyone interested please Private message or e-mail me : [email protected]

Yes the first five are going $750.00.I just want to get these out there and grab some feedback and any concerns before I increase the price. At $750.00 I am not making anything on these!!The price will be going to $850.00-$900.00 very soon.So far two kits sold and another 2 pending.Buyer will pay shipping. The kit does include door pieces and an aluminum mounting bracket underneath the sill(as you can see by the pictures).
Stacy

The five sets are sold for this price($750.00) from now on the price is $850.00 US.I just did the 5 to get some out there.I will have the people with them post on the site to their results(hopefully with pictures).

Thanks to all who have purchased so far!!
Stacy

I am posting these for B-rad.They are the non-vented side skirts.I think the result was awesome and he installed them himself in approx. 2.5 hours.

Stacy, I will get some better pictures as these were shot in a hurry. The quality, fit and finish of your Side Skirts and Door Panels is excellent and they blend in very nicely with my '02 rear valance.

Brad

Here are some updated pics of B-rad's car.Again these are the non-vented version.Brad also installed these himself.
Love the wheels as well Brad!!

Wow! That looks factory! Awesome work, super nice fit! Definately how the car should have come from Acura. Looks great!

Thanks for the compliments Deuce B. The side skirts fit right out of the box. I just had them prepped and painted and the installation was easy. Stacy has built a great product and I hope to see more of the non-vented and vented side skirts sold and on our cars.

Brad, could you tell me how much ground clearance you have? Also, any trouble getting to the jack points with the lower skirts?

I have about 3 1/2" of ground clearance and the jack points are easily reached.

Brad,
Do the side skirts go lower than all of the OEM parts of the car? Are they higher or lower than the jack points?

i.e. if the car went over a high speed bump would it hit the bottom of the car before the fiberglass side skirts hit?

Thanks,
Steve

Steven,

The skirts are higher than the lowest part of the body and are higher than the jack points. I have not had any trouble scraping on high speed bumps.

Thanks Brad
You will be the first sales person on my payroll LOL !!!
As far as fitment, again,I just want to say they fit really well but I do reccomend a bodyshop to fit them to the car. That way they are perfect!!!
Stacy

Just an added note to this string- I recently purchased a set of the vented skirts from Stacy. They're awesome!!! The body shop I deal with had nothing but compliments on the quality and added it took little work for prep in comparison to others ground effects he's worked with. I'll post pics in a couple of weeks when I get the car back from all the other 'required' work that's being done. Thanks again Stacy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please post pics when finished.

Like I said before, they will need to be fitted by a bodyshop. The part that goes up the fender needs sanding to match that of the car,the shape is there just needs to be fine tuned.I am going to try to make a template so that it will virtually be a bolt on kit.I hope this works!!
One thing alot of you have mentioned is that you don't have a bodyshop you trust to do this.I answer this:It is not a difficult install at all(both fitting and installing) and you still have to trust them to match colours.Matching colours is the hardest part of this job.Mine will be installed tomorrow or saturday.I WILL post pictures.
Thanks for all the enquires this far guys!
Stacy

Here a couple of pictures of the installation of my New Style Vented side skirts.
