Anyone know this 2002 Imola - JH4NA21622T000082

This is a mile away from my house, so I took my 1992 and stopped by after work today. I got there just as Sales was about to shut down for the day (6 p.m.) but I talked with "Demian" and he offered to open it up for a quick closer look. The NSX is parked outside on the side of the building. The clear bra is old and dull. Woodgrain has got to go. Interior looks clean. Front lower air dam needs replaced, as has already been mentioned. TB/WP not yet done. Car looks great otherwise from what I could see in my quick walkaround.

Wished I lived that close to a candy store

Some nice cars there!
Like your 2002-newer wheels

Also looks like it has a half nose clear bra and that is a plus- though it looks like this car has been through the carwash several times by the swirls, definitely agree with cam... the floormat is rough along with the carpet. I guess the owner wasnt a clean freak :)

that shifter and boot cover would definitely have to "go" in my opinion. I wonder if they put a short shifter in?

Maybe I should be posting this on another forum but since it relates to this car, here goes.
Does anybody have any idea how much it would cost to remove / replace a clear bra. Seems like I read somewhere that it could lift the paint in removing.
Still thinking about this car but the dealer is not willing to move much on the price and the issues keep adding up.

price depends a lot where you go and what material they use. Some places are cheaper and use a computer cut design. some lay it on and cut it to the car. I would say a fair estimate though would probably be in the $2k range. for the nose... but while you're there I would add the rockers and door sides, spats... basically the complete lower portion of the car. anything 6" or so and down.... AND the side intakes AND a piece below the gas door so if someone happens to put the handle in and rest it on the car it wont damage. but that is just my opinion and what i did for both of my cars total about 3k in clear bra IMO

As long as the nose paint is OEM.... I don't think the paint lifting would be an issue. OEM Honda/Acura paint is typically hard as a rock and solid!

As far as exact pricing... I've heard 1-2k depending but I'll let someone else in that area to comment specifically.

Since the car is in Phoenix/Scottsdale area...
local guy Mike at Inyati (up the road 1/4 mile from SOS) can probably replace current clear bra with full-front XPEL Ultimate for under $2000
...then drop it off at SOS for TB/WP and other maintenance

I can stop by the dealer, check it out, drive it, and take pics for anyone interested...

I probably will anyways since I've never seen an Orange/Orange

The drivers side floor mats and carpet look to be in rough shape...you can see the grey dirt accumulation and wear from repeated use.

remember, this is a 11 year old car with 50,000 plus on the odometer. there is going to be some wear and tear...

you're still right however. ive seen a few 'newer' 10 year old nsx's with the same milage of this orange car expecting them to be all minty fresh since they are 50k+ cars.

the reality that i had to accept is that even after swallowing the cost of the car, me (or any new buyer) will still need to put a few grand into the car to make it into dream-mint-condition. it's reality since the cars are a decade old, but most of the fixes should be minor.

I stand corrected. I had the two cars discussed in this thread mixed up.

My wife and I drove past dealer on way home from Scottsdale tonight.

Did a quick walk-around inspection under their lot lights
Agree with 4cruizn's points and would add that this car needs to see a paint detail specialist for some TLC, lots of bad swirl
the paint protection film needs to be removed and replaced with full hood coverage, its old and has seen some road time
the wood grain looks even worse in person
yokohama tires on it
The orange interior actually looks really good in person, and seats appear in decent condition from outside the window
throw some black mats in it like someone else mentioned and its good to go
odometer reads in the ~23500 neighborhood, I glanced at it

The dealer needs to come down on their price...
it is not a 65K car as presented and w/ deferred major maintenance
regardless of color scheme combo rarity

- By the way Synth.. your interior is nice, seats look great.. how you liking them for fitment, etc

.
