2nd annual NSXPrime Canyon Drive!!!>>>Late May/Early June

I'm so jealous of you people!!

Has there been any large sized NSX get togethers on the east coast?

I've just been to a BMW M5 meet couple weeks ago along with a friend who knows most of the people there. Got to know a lot of nice people, mostly car enthusiats obviously and I really enjoyed the vibe. I'm really interested in this 2nd annual NSXPrime meet, too bad I can't make it, too long of a drive.

Late registration is 7 days or less prior to event. Late reg. is $5 extra($30) and radio rental cannot be guaranteed at that point and I do not recommend, but if you must. Spaces left: 3 (not all paid though)

SilverBullet, SoCal-NSX and Powered by Honda,

We should definitely arrange to meet up with you guys from San Diego.

One week before the drive, I'll setup a meeting place in the Irvine area at around 7:30 and if Powered by Honda can arrange the SD group, we can meet up some where along 405.

Dave, it was good meeting you yesterday.

UPDATE!
Craig, Marc(9lb.) and myself are driving the routes for timing and mileage. Last years drive put 152 miles on my car! The t-shirts(42 of them) are being made next week and the avatars WILL be available if you put in a request for one. It will be located on the front of the shirt(pocket area). You can have any avatar you would like, as long as it is on Prime. Thanks to everyone who sent payment in on paypal and snailmail. Please remember, if you paid by Paypal, you still need to send in the official entry form(w/ a nice waiver).

Note: Please respond/confirm your spot if you are on THIS list.
Corey D,Mark Stepp,Marc Struhl, Walter, Claus,George Shultz & Frank Cox.

Thanks for all the replies and quick sign-ups, and the kind words.
Take care,
John

I may be in on the caravan from San Diego. I'm still deciding if I'll go up sometime Saturday, or wake up early and do the early Sunday A.M. caravan (assuming it's Sunday). I'm just not a morning person.

I'm definitely in for some sort of caravan back down!!!

John, sorry I've been slacking. I'll get that form to you soon.

Yes, there have. Last year the Northeast Region of the NSX Club of America held four different events, including a poker rally, a drive in the country, etc. I believe they are planning at least as many events for this year.

If you prefer, you can go to the CalCoastalNSX meeting in Calabasas on May 16th(this coming Thursday) and finalize your payments and or entry forms. Printed forms will be available at the meeting. Getting close to full, maybe a little over. Rules, we don't need no stinking rules. Deadline still stands at May 26th. ;o)

Any openings and radio rentals left? Would love to indulge in a day of twisted turns with fellow NSX owners. Please update me on the Orange County caravan. Look forward to it.

Yes, you can still sign up(maybe 1 or 2 left). Paypal would be the quickest way to get a spot.

ANYTIME, sorry if I missed something, but just to clarify, do we need to do anything special if we just want to stick our own avatar on our shirts? Both my passenger and I would like my avatar on our shirts, if possible.

BTW, thanks for coordinating all of this, I'm really looking forward to it! Should be a blast!

Thanks for the update, registration form and check in mail today. Should be great fun.

Just wondering if any of the 25 cars attending the drive have Tubi exhaust installed. I have gone through Taitec parallel (<50 miles), now GruppeM (<2500 miles) and I'm ready for something else.

Before I jump into it, I'd like to hear it in person. Tino offered to show me his car, but if I can do it during the drive, then that's one less trip to LA. Thanks!

Chris:

I may be abe to drive up with you. I can't stay for the day, but would go up to hang out with everyone and then head back home. Let me know what your schedule is.

Dave

Forgot to mention the sponsers that stepped up to the plate to make this event a bigger success. FactorXMotorsports and Science of Speed have been more than generous in there donations. A special thanks to them is in order. Dent Works-Paintless Dent Removal is also another contributor.

John,

Those shirts with the avatars look like they're gonna be real cool. Is it possible to order extra?

Randy,
I can find out when the total headcount is in(this Weds.). There is a little over 40 shirts being made and it could be close. I'll let you know.

Drop me an email at nsx-at-1017-dot-org. I already have Conrad's new Avatar. Here is the updated proof. Id like to get it finalized by tuesday at the lastest, so anyone who has changes or a newer / better / higher res (probably wont make a big difference because the pic will be around 2.5 or 3" square, please email them to me!

Here's the updated proof sheets:

Not sure if it will matter and/or if it's too late, but my last name is spelled incorrectly on the list. If you can, please change it to Schulz (just the "c" was missing).

Thanks!
