2nd annual NSXPrime Canyon Drive!!!>>>Late May/Early June

Sorry I didn't get to join you guys for the second leg this year. Have the passenger (and driver if necessary) take some Bomine in the morning. It will keep them from getting sick during the drive and it's non-drowsy.

Does anyone know how to print NSXFury's panoramic photo above?

Hey, let's not forget the best part of the drive!

Like Randy, I've tons of coverage of the event including digital shots (some will be up soon...can't resist tweaking them in Photoshop), 35mm prints (yet to be processed), and digital video (probably won't be uploaded until I get a new computer...hopefully later this month).

If only I didn't have to work...

Hey all Steve and I just wanted to say THANKS to everyone. Especially to John and everyone else who helped organize the event, we had a blast. The food was good the people were great and the cars were awesome. There is no doubt that we will be there for the NSX prime canyon drive 2003!

We left early so we didn’t hear the story about the CHP, what happened?

Thanks again, it was a good time.

Aaron

Indeed, thanks to all who put this event together, it was very well organized and a blast to attend.

I hope next time more NorCal folks attend, it was worth the trip down there. (Even though Alex V couldn't make it ... damn you Alex!!!)

Great!! We'll see you there!

4 drivers in the front of the group got snagged by CHP on Las Posas close to PCH. Not the best news to post and we all feel very bad about it. Even though a ticket is a sore subject, at least nobody damaged themselves, other people, or their vehicles. Tickets can be paid and then life goes on...

Randy, I'm not getting anything with that link.

BTW, Marc W. and I are considering a track event at Willow in late July, R. U. N?

Freakin' 0catch.com. They must've switched to a 20MB/day transfer limit. I'll need to figure something else out.

As for the track event, I'm interested!!! I'd love to do Willow again!!

Damn...Randy's got HIS pics up and I haven't even taken my 35mm shots to the developer!

Anyway, here's another digital pic to chew on until that day finally arrives (click on icon for full picture)

Just finished my video. First half of the drive, the camera was pointing backwards, second half pointing forward. Captured some of the more memorable moments of the drive, including photographic evidence that there really WAS a full-grown live peacock standing on the side of the road! Plus, we got some footage of the white Lexus RX300 that tried to race Ilya through a turn, not to mention the now famous 1:43 NSX drag racing for pink slips at lunch!

Enjoy!

Excellent!

Yes, I recorded over an hour worth of footage from Canyon Run 2. Though I've got a bit higher-end equipment, I doubt my footage will match the quality of that video simply because Mr. Weinberg has an in-car camera mount (must get one...makes a huge difference)!

I haven't had a chance to watch much of my footage, but I have seen enough to know that Valerie shot some quality stuff, albeit hand-held, especially on the tighter twisties after "The Rock".

I'm currently freeing up space on Valerie's laptop computer (her drives are nearly 100% full) so I can upload some clips. As I said earlier, I won't be able to make a full edit of my video until I either get a new computer or get a larger hard drive for the laptop...and I haven't had time to shop for either.
