Anyone have a sound clip of the 2nd gen exhaust??
I loved the sound of the 1st gen but I'm afraid to order the newer version without hearing it first..........
Anyone heard of a shop called "Hi-Tech" in Catonsville Maryland.
I was approached by them at Capitol Dragway the other night He said that they deal with alot of NSX's -- their business card has and Red/Black NSX on it ......I need to find a good shop----any comments ???
This "opinion" is from several sources. Other message boards, an Acura mechanic and the following site. Remember, this is just my opinion with no real scientific evidence. But as far as Acura not possibly putting a lesser quality (I didn't say "poor quality") filter on a...
The "OEM" filters that the Acura dealers are using now (at least the dealer I've used) are actually made by FRAM and are reportedly inferior to the old Japanese filters. The new ones have "HONDA" and some Japanese writing on them......but the lower rim has "fram" printed on it.
It seems logical that headers and even an exhaust would make a much larger rwhp gain after a supercharger install. The higher pressure would create more exhaust requiring less restriction. Of course to test that, someone would have to install a SC with stock exhaust--dyno the car -- then...
I had my Comptech headers installed today on my bone-stock '91.
I left the OEM exhaust and cats on. We did before and after Dynos on a "dynapack" which I was told is a more conservative (and more consistant) Dyno machine.
Stock rwhp = 228.1 torque=170.7
W/headers rwhp = 237.1...
Anyone heard of a "Crime Stopper" alarm system?. It has alot of features and the price is upper end. A search didn't turn up anything.............................
Thanks for the info... I'm afraid I will be at work all day Saturday--but I will try to get in touch with Dan to see what he says. I had to miss the last event also--- I hope I can make it to the next one.

Any good shops in the Baltimore / Washington area that can install a set of headers? I just got my NSX in Sept and my closest Acura dealer here in Baltimore doesn't seem to be very experienced with them.
I got the last one today from Gaylon. He must have had two more left since Spartan2-3 got a set also..... ??? .... but he said they are all sold out now. $1200 plus ship.
What a deal !!!! thanks Nsx Service Girl
I just had the same problem with my NSX. It turned out to be an in-line fuse in the wires coming out of the remote unit itself. Was your unit factory installed or put in afterwards like the NSX ? If factory then the fuse is probably located in the fuse box with all the others.
It sounds like the EDFC can control the height of the car according to one of the above posts. I thought the servo motor simply turned the damper adjuster on the top which controls hard/soft ride ...? Anyone know the answer ??
Thanks to Larry Bastanza and Matteni. I tried your solutions but, unfortunately, they didn't help. I finally figured it out though. If you unscrew the panel under the glove box the Remote Entry Unit is right there. There is a fuse in line with the wires and it was blown (3 amp). It's nice to...
My remote doesn't work anymore. The remote itself seems to have power (small red light) but nothing happens. It worked fine before I had to replace the battery. Is there a fuse to the remote ?...I looked in my glove box like some of the posts say and didn't see anything. I checked trunk, rear...
