Xenon HID lighting

jen,

I recently purchased the 9006 kit for my GSR and installed them about 2 weeks ago. Since then, I have decided to sell my car and within a few months, slide into a '91-'93 NSX. Can I just take the current kit out of the Integra, order the parts needed, and put it in the NSX? Or do I have to start all over again?

You should be able to remove the HID and install it into your future NSX. Just email Jen, or contact Phoenix Micro-Lite and have them provide you with the documentation for the necessary modifications to the clip.

Again, has anyone done a successful installation of any Xenon HID kit without having to modify the factory clips that hold the bulbs in - I mean, using other clips from other cars, modifying other clips from other cars, etc. - anything but modifying the original clips to accomodate the swap.

im from queens ny i have the same xenon hid lights that you see in the mercedes bmw infiniti acuras etc if you are interested you can come around, the price is between 350-400 ill take you to shops that install them professionally for around 50-75 dollars email me back if interested
thank you,

mike

Am I missing something here? I don't see any discussion about the Autolampsonline kit. Their claim to fame is that they have a specially designed bulb that directly replaces the NSX factory bulb. It does NOT require modifying the clip or the weather covers. It is kit made especially for the NSX. I installed it, so I know. Its easy, no mods, and fully reversible. If I missed where this kit was mentioned, i'm sorry for the redundant info.

What you missed is the fact that getthatnewcar, for some strange reason, decided to post to a thread that was two years old

, in order to hawk his sales. Two years ago, the autolamps kit was not on the market.

oooOOOOOoooo I see now. Thanks Ken. btw, If it were me, I don't see why anyone would want to do a xenon conversion that would require modifications that compromise weather protection or requires irreversible mods.

ps.. love the face
