They don't seem to have learned any have they. It's tanking, they need to do something, fast, drop the price, or improve lease deals and fiddle with the ICE to produce just a little more power. Really how hard can it be? Where there's a will there's a way.........

I have mentioned that the 2018 car that will be available in 2018 is unchanged. That includes pricing.
There is no big lease improvement is sight.
The most interesting thing we have heard recently was from another poster, who mentioned his dealer told him about a $7500 rebate for 2018 cars.

Sales may be disappointing but I'm only becoming more interested in this car!
Maybe Ill be back one day. After all, I walked into the dealer in 2004 (December!) and bought my new 2002 that was sitting and sitting and sitting for 2+years on their floor.......offered them a price that neither of us could refuse.
And that was day one of an amazing 7years with that car. So many friends were made because of it. Life long friends.
It would be nice to have the next gen.

Correct me if we mis-understood but that is a nice gesture
P.S. we caught up with Ted Klaus who had his personal Casino white NSX with the steel brakes fitted. Great looking car and we learned a lot of new information on the car.
Honda really needs to offer a Type-R version!

surprisingly, silver has been our favorite thus far.
Yah, nothing says luxury like something worse than pleather.
I think this is why the full/real-leather seats in the new NSX are more expensive than the ones with junk/alcantara inserts.

This stuff is indeed garbage - I remember being at a manufacturer after sale conference and asking why they wanted to piss off customers by not warrantying the steering wheels when the cost to the manufacturer was so low and being told that Alcantera was a wonderful product and that the problem was due to the customers using hand lotion. At this point I was very close to retirement and didn't care what my Customer Satisfaction Index was so I told the manufacturer's representative that I would be sure to tell the ladies that they should take care of their steering wheels and not their hands. He was from a high end German brand and truly believed that was the thing to do since he didn't care what my CSI was either.

I am a big fan of it for the grippyness to the seat you get
I had it on my Volvo 850R and have been looking forward to having the stuff again and I have no issue with the material after a year with the NSX

Yes! I like alcantara for it's practicalities, but it's not exactly high-end material.
Alcantara is fine. I have it on the steering wheel, manual shifter, and seats of my CTS-V wagon. It is easy to clean and has held up extremely well over the five years I've had that car. I've also got it in my TLX A-Spec. It should be just fine on the NSX. Is it a high-end material? By no means. However, it's easy to grip and also holds you in your seat a bit, so a decent product for a purported sports car.
My 1st experience w/ a suede - Alcantara seat center insert was in my 1999 Zanardi.
No sliding in the seat......also driving wearing nylon running shorts, make sure your waistband
was tight.
Very effective, but still prefer perforated leather.
