For me it had to be the Ferrari Testarossa sans Don Johnson.
The Isuzu Impulse Turbo was my favorite before the NSX came along.
Some of my favorites: Testarossa, Lotus Esprit (the one from The Spy Wo Loved Me), 911 Turbo, NSX (duh).
But, the one that caught my attention, and still makes my heart beat faster is the 1985 Ferrari GTO. Classic Ferrari looks, monstrous performance.

1973 Carrera RSR then and still is my all time favorite.

Love the scene from "Cannonball Run" when the Countach was being chased around by cop cars, fun to see the Countach toy with lesser vehicles

I'll venture to be different here having grown up in a non muscle car era. 
LEXUS SC300/400
I remember seeing these and thought they were the greatest looking car ever. (I hadn't really been exposed to exotics very much yet other than the Testarossa and some of the Bond cars (Aston, Jag etc on TV) I didn't know anything about true market value or financing or insurance etc. which is why I always said that was going to be my first car...until I learned about the said things. Even after high school I was surprised how well they held there value.
DODGE STEALTH RT TT (vs the TRANS AM)
Back in the early 90s there was a series of made for TV movies, that were a modern interpretation of the original "Bandit" movies. In these Bandit movies, the Bandit drove a Black Dodge Stealth Turbo. After always seeing him leave the cops in his dust in such a sleek, sexy (I love black cars) coupe, I was an instant fan.

This I've liked since I saw Don Adams driving one as agent 86 on Get Smart. Just thought it was so cool for its size. Wish they would've shown it more than just in the opening credits.

From the first day I saw it in Car and Driver.
No further explaination needed here obviously.
