Unofficial Ferrari-Style/F1 Exhaust Thread

I dunno what but that nsx obviously has other mods that is making it sound that loud. There are clips of gruppe m on the exhaust clip thread and ppl should listen to it if they want to know what it would actually sound like on a stock nsx if they're considering the exhaust.

Thats Alex V.'s car from Gruppe M USA. He has this exhaust on it now
http://daliracing.com/v666-5/catalog/index_browse_part.cfm?focus=1718

His car has the Gruppe M Supercharger, Intake, Exhaust, Headers, BBK, JRZ suspension, Gruppe M everything basically and a lot of custom or upgraded stuff. His internals are all stock from what I understand.

His car sounds mean with the Ver. 2..... I can't imagine with the Ver 3

I'm actually kinda embarrassed of this thread. I think, I'm wondering how to make my nsx more nsx sounding ;)

I can see the F- Chat guys laughing their @sses off at us right now........

LOL....I was thinking the same thing when I first started reading this thread. The NSX is one of the best sounding cars out there but it'll never sound like that F355 or a 360...completely differently designed engines.

With that in mind, some of the NSX's here sound amazing but I gotta be honest, those F-cars just sing!

I have had the Verison 3 titanium for over a year now and still haven't taken it out of the wrapper. Hopefully this summer I will get it installed to hear the difference from my old stainless version.....

To me, that is the ultimate exhaust. If it were me, I'd stay up all night to install it the day the exhaust arrives. I tip me hat to you for your patient.

Have been to events with Alex V. and his Ti GM exhaust is super loud. Louder than the v3 SS. And the v3 is already louder than the v2.

I started this thread on a personal basis. Most people who like to "tune" their cars (especially me), tend to like how their car sounds. Lets say low-growl, throaty, or high-pitched. As we all know there are many types of exhausts that produce different sounds. Personally I like mine high-pitched. I never said I was a ferrari wannabe, I just, for explanation purposes, stated Ferrari-STYLE/F1, but you could add to that "Sport-bike" sound too. I'm just looking for some orientation, to help out the process of elimination.

Taitec JGTC still the closest sound to the JGTC cars I heard back in 04's JGTC event in Fontana, CA

I WANT ONE (with less weight)

Than you would really like these.

While Ferrari's and Lamborghini's sound awesome, I think everyone will agree that they don't touch these NSX's for sound:

Wow, those cars sounded great!

I'm sure NSX's sound mean but the sound from a Ferrari and its V12 is a high pitched symphony. Nothing bad about the NSX sound I love it but V6 compared to V12 is like apples and oranges.

what does a zonda have to do with a civic?

My point was that even a whatever with an exhaust can sound decent on a track since the sound resonates bounces of the walls. Try it in an indoor garage.

what are you talking about? that wasnt taken at a track, it was off a side street by the factory, not near any walls or tunnels...

I believe he got confused with the Race Track clip and not the Zonda Clip.

I've seen Top Gear Zonda Clips, but never heard it like the one posted here.

Our NSX's will never sound like those cars either because those JGTC/Super GT NSX's use completely different setups than our C30's and C32's.
