I would order 18f / 18r rather than the 17/18 setup.

I always thought the 18/18 looked strange because the wheels wont have the same (or even close to the same) profile. Its a personal preference ofcourse just something to keep in mind.

If you ever go to bronze, sell me those! "Lord Vader...your car is ready."

Bump to revive a great thread, both for the info and the pics.

New update as I have install Tein coilovers and the car is lowered. I will post new pics later

Thank you much! I really like my current wheels, but Mesh wheels are kind of a pain in the butt to get in between the spokes to clean them. So I'm going with the Nogaros once i wear out my current tires. Might even save some weight too. going down from 18/19's mesh wheels(R1's I believe) to these 17/18's 5 spoke Nogaros.

I came across your thread while I was searching for someone who had TSW Nogaros on their NSX. I am wondering if you decided to get them and if you did could you tell me how you made out? I think these would look great on an NSX but I have not been able to find one with them.
Thanks!
Nick

I haven't gotten around to get them yet. I still have plenty of tread on my current tires. sorry. :frown:

No Problem, I think I;m going to pull the trigger on these this spring. I'll post if I do.

Man... the ZE forged Shifters do look sweet...

What do you think 18x8's would look all the way around. Not really looking for staggered.. and would probably only go standard wheel width.

I've got a standard 2003 IOP i.e. no extra body panels.. Figure without these mods.. going OTT on the wheel will not come out right?

Ok its been long enough! I am going to volunteer to compile every single rim/tire combo by ALL NSX Prime members! I will have a link on this post that will go to a wheel page. Example....lets say a newby is looking for some aftermarket wheels, and really likes the Volk TE37, but has no f'n clue as to what size, what offset, what size tires, will it fit a BBK, will the tires rub, do I need spacers, how about extended lugs, ......Sound familiar?

Here is what I am asking, and I will put it into matrix form, seperated by mfg.

rim offset f/r
tire size f/r
BBK? if so brand
spacers needed f/r
extended lugs? f/r
lowered? with what setup?
front tire rubbing? inside/outside
tire rubbing rear?
if you could re-order your current set-up, what would you change?

*if you have a pic of your set-up great, add it!

This way a guy can click on "volk" and see what others are running, and see what offsets work, and which won't etc etc.

I will NOT have or offer any "links" or "ads" on these pages. This will be for NSX Prime members reference/benefit purpose only.

I will start with car #1, a recent customers car.

I would add "weight front", "weight rear" as well as offset are critical.

That's why I have stuck with the stock wheels on my 03. Minimal unsprung weight. It is very difficult to get something lighter than forged magnesium, or a wheel that weights the same or less in pounds than its diameter in inches. The stock wheels fulfill these requirements. Guess Honda knew what they were doing.
