Definitly one of the best looking wheels for the nsx

I'm thinking of getting some TSW Nogaro wheels for my car. Currently I have some mesh wheels in F18x7.5 215/35 and R19x8.5 245/35 I think.

The Nogaros I want in 17x8 and 18x9. What are the tires I should go with to stay within TCS and whatnot. Offset for the front would be +40, so I think that would work just fine. On the rear, Offsets available are +20 and +35. How would the +20 wheels fit on the rear of the car? And would I have to go with a tire width that would give it that stretched look to make it fit (which I dont mind actually) ?

18x9 +20 for the rear will work. It push 35mm out more than the oem 02+ wheels. It will fill most of the fender with maybe 5~8mm left.

17X8 +40 is 1" wider than oem and the offset push 15mm outward. 25mm/2 + 15mm=27.5mm. The wheel will be pushed out of fender, it will be noticeable. 17X7 +40 will work fine on front.

Crap, those wheels dont come in 17x7 +40. so you're saying the wheels will stick out 27.5mm out of the fender, or the difference of those which is 2.5mm?

It will stick out by 2.5mm. It might just be what you are after since you want stretched look, but it could also be more than you asked for. This is just my opinion.

I used H&R 25mm spacers with oem wheels 16x7 +55mm before, that make it equivalent to a 16x7 +30mm offset. It was quite flushed with the fender.

Keep in mind if your front wheel sticks out and your rear wheel is tucked in or flushed with fender, you will get that wider front than rear illusion effect. Wish you the best luck. Please share your pics once you put the new wheels on.

Thanks NSXSUPRA for the info. 2.5mm is not much, I think i can live with that. Now what tire size choices do you recommend?

You really are a rebel, very brave:smile:. Tire topics is mr.tire "nsxtacy's" speciality.

My no guarantee recommended tire size that will most definitely work for the wheel and size you selected are:

Front: 215/40/17 (1st choice)
Rear: 255/35/18 (1st choice) or 265/35/18

You can read this thread over and see what works for other Nsx owners. The TSW Nogaro have very fat lip, so the spokes are tucked into the lip. You might actually pull it off with good result using those extremely aggressive offsets.

Thank you much! I really like my current wheels, but Mesh wheels are kind of a pain in the butt to get in between the spokes to clean them. So I'm going with the Nogaros once i wear out my current tires. Might even save some weight too. going down from 18/19's mesh wheels(R1's I believe) to these 17/18's 5 spoke Nogaros.
