I just want to share with you guys an excellent and reliably source for rare JDM parts.

He is very well known in the RX7 community for offering really hard to find JDM parts. My coworkers with FDs bought alot of rare parts from him and recommended Remy to me.

so i decided to order some NSX-R suspensions from him...

No, those were OEM on a special edition Mazda, I inquired about a black set some time ago.

The NSX-R are more like the SPGs.

Communications sometimes is not great with Ramy. He seems to have a lot going on, with this being a part time gig. Also, if you didn't pick air shipment it can take a LONG time. ~3mos for me.

That said, Ramy came through on some parts from YJ for me. I would (and will) do business with him again. I'm fairly certain there is no ill intent on his part.

I ordered an ARC exhaust back in January and others who have used Ramy said it does take a while to receive items, so I hope my patience will be rewarded

I've spoken with Ramy quite a few times (good guy) but haven't much in the last few weeks. I can't speak for him though I know he'd been ill with the flu for several weeks and, I think, that really put him behind.

I'm waiting for parts as well from him so I'm in the "same boat" (pun intentional) as the rest of the group. I'm sure he'll respond to this thread.

Hey guys

I'm waiting for stuff as well. It really depends on how you asked him to ship plus he has no control over customs. I went the cheap route and asked him to send me wheels and tires by land/sea so far I got the wheels though not all at the same time. I haven't seen the tires yet and it's been about two weeks since I got the wheels.

The wheels all show the same date for shipping on packing slip,but were all delivered to me a couple of days apart.

He did tell me he'd been sick as well and I hope he gets back to 100% soon.

Having used other companies and gotten burned Ramy is the only person I've dealt with how will ask buyers questions and try to negotiate prices. He doesn't have high fees either which is nice ( try dealing with some of the Japanese online companies that try to "fee" you to death ).

If you want stuff quicker he can do EMS for you ,but it's generally double the normal shipping costs:frown:

I'm cheap so I'll wait.

I really apologize...I did have the flu not too long ago, got over that, and was playing catch-up, but unfortunately I got sick AGAIN, but this time something serious. Was in bed for a week, high dose antibiotics, the whole 9. I'm just now getting back on my feet and into the swing of things. And of course ppl's parts are my #1 Priority, since you guys are entrusting me with your money. So plz rest assured that over the next few days, you'll see a flurry of emails going out to ya, and everyone will get their stuff taken care of ASAP.

Get this guys the ship date on it is 1/3/08 So definitely not Ramys fault he shipped exactly when he told me he would. I think my next couple of items may be going EMS. Hey it's spring and time to hit the track:biggrin:

As for the shipping time/date, yea it really varies. I've seen stuff show up as soon as 4 weeks, and as late as 16 weeks. As long as it arrives, that's my #1 Priority, ya know?

As for EMS, I hope you got deep pockets, cuz man, it gets expensive w/ heavy parts...

I still haven't received any of the tires you got me and I know you did warn that customs is very strict on importing tires so could that be the reason for their delay? I ask because you sent the tires and wheels at the same time and it's been about three weeks since I got the wheels.

Just curious.

Re: the delay, your guess is as good as mine. Stuff sent at the same time doesn't necessary get shipped together (many a time I ship 4 wheels together, and the customer notifies me that he's received 2 or 3 wheels at once, and the 1 or 2 leftover wheels several days later).

otoro, the sad part is, initially, I didn't see the "Just kidding" part at the bottom of your post, and was about to respond w/ "It'll cost you, but I CAN have it 3 - 5 Day Airlifted via Air Freight if you don't mind paying for the added expenses" LOL. You would be surprised what kinda CRAZY INSANE time-sensitive requests I get. "Hey Ramy, I didn't pay you yet, and I know you didn't buy this for me yet, but could you get it here for me by yesterday?" LOL.

otoro & fullracehonda, I'm actually very close to completing the new site, which will feature all the standard e-commerce functions (your own account, shopping cart, one-click shopping & checkout, order status, tracking info, etc) as well as some very nice & unique features for you JDM Junkies haha. Plus, I'm gonna be building a parts database that should cover virtually EVERY JDM company that makes products for the NSX It's gonna take a lot of work, but we're def. gettin there! In the meantime, unfortunately, we gotta stick to slow old email, because nothing's automated at present.

As for the RX-7 Recaros, I personally do not recall seeing any FIA stickers on those nor on any other OEM Recaros that I've sold. And virtually all the rare JDM stuff I sell is used. If they were new, you could easily multiply the listed price X 2, and then some. My apologies for not clearly indicating that some of those parts are used, but I'll be sure to do so on the new site, as well as listing what is currently in stock as well.
