Random NSX pictures that don't each deserve their own thread

OK, but aren't we on a publicly searchable board, commonly calling each other by name, most of us hang with others in the NSX community and I for one have been sought out by new members and am easily found. There are a lot of 'rear valance', 'custom plate', 'Cars & Café' and 'NSXPO' threads that show tons of plates by the owners themselves or are mentioned by others. Somewhere on this board are likely first and last names, plates, cities and car pics for matching up to all of us if someone wanted to use the search tool.

If I wanted your car, I'd follow you and take it off the street where a flat haul and about 60 seconds is all I need. Getting it from your house involves security systems, breaking and entering, likely gunfire in my general direction and a lot of unknowns.

I guess to each their own and people will do what they do...but the price of freedom is vigilance, and that's why I'm never 5 feet from a loaded weapon.

I say though if you are going through all the trouble of chopping out your plate, put something cool in its place like this:

For sure. Well I am glad that you wouldn't take it from my house, but unfortunately not all people are as smart as you.

Oh, I don't chop the plate for Prime, I chop it for the other forums I post it on. Prime members are the most trustworthy group I've ever encountered.

I'll look into a classier solution for chopping my plate :)

Anyway, back on topic!

Took this at the JGTC race I attended @ Suzuka circuit.

Basically what PHOEN$X said.

But, to be honest, I really do not know if there's any real benefit to masking my plates, it's just an extra precaution. I've gotten 'famous' on the internet for my cars and also now have a company that's getting a good amount of attention on the internet as well. There are probably photos of my cars on the internet without masking, but in the end, you can't be too safe these days.

I've never had a clear answer as to what you can garner off of a plate, but I feel like if someone has the right connections, plates can be matched to addresses. And I don't want to have to shoot anybody in the face with a shotgun if I don't have to.

it aint. but thats just my opinion.

The license plate topic has been discussed before:

The bottom line is that some of us just don't feel comfortable posting our own plate #s online. Whether there's any logical reasoning to the practice is irrelevant, perhaps some of us simply don't like being forced to be reduced to a number and choose to remove it from our photos (since we can't do it in real life). I say to each his own, and it doesn't affect anyone else so I don't see the big deal about it.

What a picture cockblocker.

That's the craziest build I ever seen. what's the power level on this thing?

This one was 670WHP on 92 Octane pump gas. Another 2-300 to go with race gas. We had some issues during our initial test day, so we have some work to do...

Or you can walk up to the car in a parking lot and use a Honda master key. Point is pay your insurance and if they want it bad enough they will take it.

You're no longer welcome here Erick unless you have a ton of cash to send to who you owe it to. I know of at least 6 ppl (including me) who you've ripped off.

I Know you've been selling parts on ebay so don't pretend to be a "broke student"..or that you're "too busy" as you've told me and many others. pay us back... you should have done the right thing a long time ago.

wow thats simply amazing this guy has stolen thousands of dollars in cash and parts from people and still allowed on this site.

He's been suspended as a vendor for over a year and can't sell anything on here... Ask Lud. Anything older than 12 months gets moved off of the itrader system.... There are many threads about his treatments of buyers in the vendors feedback forum:
