Oh and a side note, my rear bank cats are rattling against the rear sway bar which is the daily 0.875" one..... :(

Nothing for OBD II yet sorry! But we can get you either an AEM EMS or FIC! :smile:

Bring the car by and let me take a look at the rattling. That's the first i've heard of that problem. I'll do my best to resolve it for you.

No one needs anything really....... but we like to buy and replace stuff!!!
If you bought the 200 core, then you have the best flowing cat he had back then.
If you bought the 300 or 400 core, they are a little tighter and don't flow as easy, but do a better job in cleaning up our atmosphere.
All cores will work with your FI, but we like to think the less restriction the better.
That statement isn't always true for drive-ability and power.
Just my thoughts.

I have completed the install of my very shiny polished 300 cell cats. They look and work great! I highly recommend them!
Now I just need to get my ECU out to Brian so I can maximize my TopSpeed Header, Prospeed highflow cat, Dali Wishuponastar exhaust setup!!! :smile:

Thanks Trev, I agree with what you said above Trev. The 200 cell cores you have are fine. I now offer a 100 cell more which is the closest thing to a test pipe without the negatives of them. Do you have emissions in your area? Have you tried to pass your car with the whipple and the 200 cell cores?

Congrats on going FI! The 300 cell cats will work fine however the new 200 cell and 100 cell cores flow a lot more! FI cars will see greater gains from a freer flowing exhaust sytem period. You should see hp gains over the OEM cats and the 300 cell cores even. You can always sell your 300 cell and step up to the 200 or 100 cell setup.

We don't have emissions testing here in Alberta but I dislike the smell of the byproducts of combustion, so I choose to run Catz instead of test pipes.
Plus the weight savings....lol.

You're lucky Trev not to have emissions up there in Alberta! California is crazy strict!

I also never liked the black soot on my rear bumper and raspiness sound my exhaust makes with a test-pipe on my other cars. Been happy with high flow cats ever since! Plus we got to go green and save the planet! hehe
 
What cats can you recomend for the best performance and how would they compare to a decat/test pipe?

For both performance and sound.
