Is this at Alice's for sure? My brother-in-law is flying in on Wednesday and may have to pick him up at the airport. If not, I may be able to attend.

indeed, the turkey outfit is mandatory! no hoveround for me this time as our son will probably be joining us and i haven't got the sissy bar installed yet

i've just returned from the doc's who says that i have an upper respiratory infection that is highly infectious right now... i don't want to risk passing it on to you guys so canx my participation seems the best thing to do.

Actually, one of our regular spots is at the Lakeside Cafe. :smile:
As my 10-2 time slot is now going to be spent waiting for the appliance repairman to show up, re-scheduling is the only option on my list as well.

I'm still up for Alice's anytime (especially weekends) Driving past it is now part of one of my commute options.. MV on a weekday is good too.
On another note, I had a bit of an emergency this morning on the way to work. After a fantastic curvy drive down from Skyline, my engine stalled and I couldn't get it started. I was stuck in the middle lane on an incline just east of 280.. I couldn't move due to heavy traffic... With 3% battery on my phone, I managed to get in a call to AAA before my phone battery died, but after that I was helpless.
I felt safe enough while traffic was slow, but once it cleared, there were several close calls with people who somehow couldn't see me stopped. Fortunately a good samaritan stopped, put out flares, then stopped traffic so I could get to the side of the road. I thought for a while I was gonna be toast. In hindsight, I definitely should have had AAA call CHP.
Car is in the shop now, still waiting to hear what's up..
Weather looks bad for this weekend..

According to my calendar, the 16th of December is a Thursday.. Next Tuesday is the 7th and the following Tuesday is the 14th.
Any day should work for me (with the standard disclaimer that something work related may come up and I will have to miss it), so you guys pick what works best for you..
Looks like I had a failed fuel pump relay, so that's being replaced. Glad it was nothing major!
