My mothers Taboli is the best I have ever had same goes for the pie.

On Tuesday I bought some honey comb Hal. It was good but a little grainy. Lazy bees most likely.

When is lunch? Where is lunch going to be? Oh my GAWD!:biggrin: We don't have a clue.

Hal and I just have so much fun when we have lunch we thought it would be criminal not to share the fun. That plus we thought it would be a good idea to meet fellow NSX'ers and get to know them better.

Hal lives near San Jose. I live in San Francisco. Sometimes we meet in San Francisco, sometimes we meet down by Hal. Last time we met in Woodside which is in the middle and a really cool place with lots of twisties to get there. (Hal, what was that place that we met when you shot that video that you posted on Prime?) We just try to find a neat place and have some fun.

I think as you've read through this thread, you'll have an idea as to the tenor of lunch...

Hal will talk to you about ANYTHING and do so with an informed opinion. At the same time, he will make you laugh your butt off.

We don't expect a huge group of people or a large group or NSX cars. In fact, we really don't talk about cars that much. We just have fun and laugh a lot.

I guess from my perspective, I just have so much fun, I thought it wouldn't be right not to invite other people.

Bill, if you don't show up, you're a real BUTTHEAD because you told me you were going to join us. We've had a number of phone conversations, and we've also have a number of common interests. I think Ken (Chopjazz) hopes to join us as well. He is a really great guy.

OK. I can't make this official, but I think Hal might buy everyone that shows up a free lunch!:tongue: Just kidding.

doug... again i'm sitting here chuckling outloud.

to those who may be interested in joining us, like doug said, we're really open for locations that work for "the majority"... doug and i have flexibility wrt our time, so that's no big shake. ken's in half moon bay and loves to drive his car - period.

several months ago, doug and i had lunch at shoreline park in mtn view - fairly easy to get to, centrally located on the peninsula... not a bad hop from anywhere in the bay area. the outdoor restaurant is by the wetlands and has a small, man-made lake to watch folks sailing / thrashing about. overall, a nice outdoor location w/ good burgers / sandwiches, etc. lots of fresh air and sunshine.

as doug said, we get together because we enjoy one another's company and share some common interests... and more than a few laughs.

lacking other suggestions for mid-week (bueller?), i propose we visit shoreline again... that way ken gets to drive his car!
