Oakland county NSX count

Wow do you own three NSX's? Where do you go for service ( car )?

I guess I should correct that signature line. Those are my past two cars (the black and green ones). I just have the silver one now. I was going to Devin at Payne, but since that is no longer available, I guess I am going to Suburban, and keeping my fingers crossed.

It would be great if any of our fellows who have had their cars serviced at Suburban could maybe let us know what their service is like.

Hey Dynamic

I saw you on Woodward yesterday with your roof out. I was in the M3 of course and not my NSX although I did have it out yesterday.

That was me. I am always up and down Woodward (Blmf. Hls to Bham). Next time you see me in your M3, give a honk.

Ha! my wife saw you yesterday.

I was going to honk ,but I didn't want you to think some guy was hitting on you

Next time I see you I will honk and then post so that you know it's me.

Be curious to hear your thoughts on the M3 vs. the NSX. I have driven both extensively, and feel that they are very similar in many ways.

Service at Suburban. In response to your posting I can provide the following: My car was serviced by Mike at Suburban in early April. Timing belt, water pump, drive belts and a number of other service items that at 92 with 35K miles would need. Total was $3K. I have not had any issues with the service provided and Mike was good to work with.

I have e mailed Suburban and discussed via phone with them my interest in a trans upper case, as the car is in snap ring range, along with the clutch but they really don't seem to have any interest in doing the work. Unsure how to read their lack of interest in working on the car. I have actually been thinking of selling the car as it appears to be so difficult to find someone to work on it here in the area. If I do sell and get another Porsche I know of several places for service. I wish Devin was still with Payne. :frown:

Seat of the pants feeling is that the M3 is the NSX's equal and seems to rev quicker. Handling feels equal , but I can go harder in the corners in the NSX. The M3 is more fun on the street because like my S2000 you can attack traffic. The NSX seems more serious. Having said all this I have to say my NSX felt more at home on the track where it was truly in it's element.

What was your take on the two?

Hey Dave there's always Datsun Doctor in Waterford. Ask for Ted. They only do Asian imports. Don't let the name fool you
