NSX Injector O RINGS If you care

Ok, so reading through this thread, I am so confused and If someone could post the proper parts for a 1991 car only, I would appreciate it.
Thanks, Trev

So post #17 did not do it for you?:)

Regards,
LarryB

I just removed mine and the o-rings were in poor shape. Who knows how much longer they would have sealed?

Mine is a '92 daily driver with ~110k miles.

They'll get sent this week to WitchHunter for $19/injector cleaning, testing, and new rubbers:

For all of the old cars, it's good preventative maintenance.

just thought i would revive this thread for any who have missed it...i'm glad i stayed up late farting around on this site one night because i wouldn't have stumbled upon this and i probably would have had an engine fire on down the line....

i have a 95 AT targa that has about 73k on it now....bought it with 66k.....been noticing that i smell fuel fumes in the car after driving and getting back inside after it's been sitting for a bit....the other day, with the top off, i smelled more faint fuel fumes while driving and at stop lights....it was a little stronger in the engine bay of course when i would pull over and pop the hatch to confirm....

ordered the o-rings that were listed in the earlier posts and had them replaced this past weekend...my mechanic buddies told me that they were badly deteriorated.....the fumes have disappeared now that they've been replaced....

thank you for bumping this, wondering if part #'s have changed/advanced over the years, here is what I get for a 1994, from the acuraoemparts.com website:

16472-P0H-A01 SEAL RING, INJECTOR (NOK)
16473-P10-A01 CUSHION RING, INJECTOR (NOK)
16474-PH7-000 INSULATOR, INJECTOR
91301-P2F-A01 O-RING (7.3X2.2) (NOK)

90428-PD6-003 WASHER, SEALING (12MM)

This is slightly different than Larry B's suggestion for 1991-1994 cars:

16472-PH7-003
16473-PD6-000
16474-PH7-000
91301-PM7-003

Thanks for any confirmations out there.

Could someone please confirm the correct part#'s for 1994's.

I keep coming across different part number for the same year.

Thanks

Just call Tim and discuss it with him.
Tell him the two different numbers and your fears.
Maybe some numbers are superseded, you check it out and let us all know.
Trev.

I'm very glad to see this thread again

Now if I can get everyone to replace their
Thermostats and tw sensors , check the butterfly plate screws, and intake gaskets(with age they leak) , I will sleep better ;)

Care to elaborate on these?

Another bump for this one. Started smelling gas last night, couldn't spot the leak in the dark with a flashlight but once the sun came up the injector gushing fuel was clearly visible (with the injector covers removed).

Have them checked during your next maint. It is a $12 part.
