How's this for intake?

Sorry for so many questions about the basics, but I'm just not too familiar with NSX aftermarket parts yet.

Anyways, I was looking at getting these two parts from SOS for intake (among other parts I want from them).

They suggest not driving in heavy rain with that Cantrell air induction system. How heavy is HEAVY rain? Is it good for a daily driver? I'm in Hawaii so most of the year we have great weather. Only a few days here and there of pretty bad weather.

So would those two make a good simple intake setup?

And would that airbox fit in there with this coolant take they sell? http://www.scienceofspeed.com/products/engine_performance_products/NSX/ScienceofSpeed/coolant_tank/

Yep, I want that coolant take too. And a muffler (undecided which one still). And their killer CF engine cover with lexan/mesh. They have too much I want!

I want to order quite a few parts from them and DaliRacing. Just trying to decide what parts will work with others well and look great.

IIRC, in the FAW section, they discuss intakes, adn the interesting thing was several dyno sheets proving that the OEM was the best! I might still go with a drop in K&N style just for the beefier intake note tho.. 1HP loss be damned..

I don't think you'll have a problem with "heavy rain" out there in HI. I don't have a problem out here and I'm sure we get more than you :)

I suggest you shop around at the different vendors to see what you like, then search for the members on here who have that particular part and ask them for their impression/experience.

Welcome to the club, and give us the details of your car.
