Yes, exactly. The Pre-2003 GT500 NSX used a 3.5 ITB engine built by Mugen using Toda parts. Toda still sells the parts. That will get you to 9,600 rpm. If you keep the 3.0, I have little doubt that engine will spin to 10,000 no problem. You will need all of the Toda parts except for 90mm pistons, which you can get forged and lightweight from Science of Speed. You also will need a HKS Fcon Vpro, MOTEC or AEM Infinity 6 engine management system. I am sure Spoon, RF Yamamoto, Route KS, Esprit, or KSP Eng will be happy to build and tune it for you. At that RPM, I would also seriously consider a dual-pass radiator (Driving Ambition) plus a dedicated external oil cooler. This entire project will probably cost US$40,000.
