Here is the Pic of 2005 NSX

Mag-X is probably the most reliable rumor magazines. I know that sounds like an Oxymoron. Point is, they have been extremely accurate with their concept designs on the latest Honda products including the Integra/RSX, JDM accord/ TSX.

If you step back and look at the image from afar, the outline or general shapesilloute of the car is very similar to the current NSX. If you study the details, that's where you pick up differences like the door profile, headlight, and tail section.

For high dollar cars, it make sense to keep the theme the same, hence the similar profile / shape. Most concept drawings, you should pay attention to the general shape and design cues. One shouldn't study details, because they are not usually done as accurately.

hmmm... personally, gonna stick my neck out here... that's one of the better concepts i've seen.
The front headlights look copied from an Integra... not a bad thing, but who wants an NSX if people confuse it with a cheaper honda? (err...that's still better than confusing it w/ a vette or camero :p)

Concepts are only a guide... it's not until you see a car in person that it wins your heart...soul...mind...wallet.

what does everyone else think?

the profile looks like a 300 ZX conv.

If Honda released an NSX like this it would come in colors of yellow, yellow, and yellow.
neo where did you get the wire mesh parts for the front bumper?

Hm, something just occurred to me about that concept. I don't think the air intake above and forward of the rear wheels can be right.

If you look at the lines of the body, the air flowing in there is going to be flowing slightly upward due to the angles in the front half of the car. Since that line of flow, once inside the ductwork, has to stop at least before the rear deck, that means the air's upward motion has to be stopped by the upper portion of the duct inside. At speed, that would provide an upforce right over the rear wheels, exactly the opposite of what you want. You always want air to push you down, not up (duh). Yes, the air had to provide downforce as it angled up toward the intakes, but that force was only applied to the front of the car.

That can't be right. Either the orientation of the vents is wrong or my understanding of aerodynamics is wrong.

EDIT: Or the upforce is not significant enough to outweigh whatever reason put the vents there, I guess.

Specifically, that picture comes from:

I see "NSX 2" in the text. Anyone able to translate the rest? Is it just another artist's conception? It looks awfully concepty for a production car.

Domestic products pure sports cars highest point is the NSX 2 world development.

New model design advances of the NSX. The Scope team discovered the new design will have an extremely short nose compared with the current model, and will also "kick up the west line".

Should be real close to the correct meaning... best I could do with 3 years of Japanese and my Kanji dictionary.;)

another translation

the only translation i could find:

Heading:
The highest peak NSX 2 world development starting of pure domestic sport

Body of Text:
The new model NSX, where design examination advances. As for the design plan, which the scoop group procures, the nose is extremely short in comparison with the current model, it also kicks up the west line.

Hopefully, that's of some help.....
