How bout we do this drive as late as possible during the day, because I too am a little girl when it comes to dealing with the heat :( :D

Kelvin had mentioned leaving Phoenix around 9am. And depending on the location where you leave from, it will probably take about an hour and a half to get the the Biosphere. Therefore, we would be at the Biosphere at 10:30am. We could take the tour, etc. and be ready to go around 12:00pm. Just an idea, but we can eat lunch at the Biosphere before we head down to Old Tucson. The drive from the Biosphere down to Old Tucson will probably take about an hour to an hour and 20 minutes depending on traffic. So, if we leave the Biosphere by 1:00pm, that gets us to Old Tucson around 2:00-2:20pm. That should give us plenty of time to walk around and catch a few shows, etc. Then we can plan dinner somewhere on the west side before the Phoenix crowd heads back north.

Of course this is just my $0.02 and if anybody else has any other ideas, please share them.

***Also, if any of the other Tucson people have the Entertainment Book, the Biosphere and Old Tucson have buy one admission and get one free.***

What type of food do people prefer for dinner? Here are a couple of restaurants on the west side that I have personally tried.
Daisy Mae's - Steakhouse
Mosaic Cafe - Mexican
Rusty's - Bar & Grill
Bianci's - Pizza/Italian

I prefer sushi, but generally I'll eat anything that's not toxic or diseased. :D Any place that has veggies and/or seafood is fine, and hopefully meets the previously emailed requirements.

The rest of the plan sounds good, we can play things by ear if need be.

Thanks Heather/Stephen!

UPDATE: The current plan is to leave Phoenix around 9am to go to Biosphere for a tour and lunch, followed by a trip to the Desert Museum and a scenic drive through Gates Pass with photos along the way, capped by a group dinner before heading back to Phoenix.

The individual rates for the tours are as follows:

Biosphere - $19.95/person
Desert Museum - $12/person (group rate avail)

I will find out if there is a group rate available for Biosphere. We can get a reduced admission fee of $9 for Desert Museum if we have at least 10 people, however we need to submit a form beforehand to obtain that rate.

To that end, please contact me if you're in for the drive, and I'll add you to the list.

Thanks!

Welcome and I look forward to meeting you! It is always nice to meet other NSX owners.

BTW Kelvin, I will just be a single for the drive. However, Stephen should be able to join us for dinner.

Noted.

P.S., I can only think of one local yellow CTSC NSX - Paul Tracy's?

I am definetly in for my first drive with you guys.

Sweet!!! It's always nice to have new faces join the crowd.

The people from Tucson should join up and caravan up to the Bioshpere together. We can meet somewhere in Oro Valley, or even my house since it is right on the way! I am looking forward to the drive!

BTW, Stephen will probably not be able to make it for dinner because he will be stuck at work late. Hopefully, some of you will stick around until Sunday and we can hang out on Saturday night. It will be really nice to not drive up to Phoenix this weekend! :p

Unfortunately it looks like Chris and I are going to be going to the Firebird track event on Saturday:( ... Chris will be running his car, along with Ross, and I will be there wishing I could run my car...Looks like a few other NSXs may show up too.

Hope you all have a great time on the drive!:D
