Advan AVS Model 5's, where are you at?

Years in the making

Proper photos coming soon (cellphone camera photo) ... but wow, I am HAPPY AS HELL, but also completely torn as I didn't realize how much I love the 02+ Wheels ..

17-18 .. no front spacers, back, 25mm, they flush PERFECT (although very agressive)!! Can handles still the same way, Is just Incredible, I am so happy!
 
looking good, would love to see more profile pictures.

what are the exact sizes/offsets?

what i love about the model 5s is how light they are; hence performance should be the same as oem wheels; except now the rear wheelwell is filled in more proportionately.!

Indeed, I was scared, yesterday I did drive around but very easy, nothing hard, came back, check all is there, took the NSX to work today, went to lunch and escaped to my local airport and did some hard driving, with turns, etc, car feels pretty much the same as the 02+ Did, really I just need to GunMetal this and I will be in heaven, right now my car is WAY 2 flashy for my taste.

Looks AMAZING !!! Perfect 17/18 sizing too??

any side skirts coming in the near future?

What are the wheel widths?!! 7/9" just like oem?!

I know, I am very torn, I took this the day before, now my car looks so different, I think in January I will GunMetal this Advans ... who ever thought, and here proves my point, the 02+ NSX wheels are one of the most beautiful wheels ver made by Honda (BBS for Honda)

Specs are:

Advan Model 5
Front: 17x8 - 215/40R17
Back: 18x8.5 - 265/35R18 - 25mm Spacers (HR Hubcentric)

The reason I kept the spacers in the back is, well, I removed all my spacers from my previous setup, all came out fine, but then ONE lug-nut got STUCK, on right rear .. tried to remove and nothing, I actually almost stripped the damn thing, I was very mad, so, I decided to bring to my shop.

Dropped car and I was sure one side was going to look ricer with the wheel popping out, and to my surprise NO, actually FLUSHES while the side without spacer, actually went INWARDS, I was static ..

And now I am got forced into! LOL

Nope, no Crazy, the 02+ in GUnMetal look F***G Awesome, if I Gunmetal the Advans and they don't look as good, they go for sale, the 02+ have a timeless design.
 
After seeing the M5s on a few cars now, especially in the stock looking silver color, I feel these are what the NSX should have come with. The M5s don't look all that good on many other cars but it's so proportional on the NSX. Angles are right. Depth of the thin spokes. It looks sharp with edgy lines like the NSX but curvy/concave and bulbous at the same time. It's a great match for the NSX. I realized this is also why I like them in 17/18. Having good tire selection is just a bonus. I'd love to have the 18/19 for the gangster effect for sure but in my old age.. I'm getting tired of swapping out wheels every other month.

To me the 02s look good because I see so many of them obviously because they're OEM. It's like the Bangle-butt BMWs. Eventually they started to look good. If I was shopping for a brand new NSX back in 02 and Acura had either the M5s or the BBS 02s as options I'm pretty darn sure i'd have chosen the M5s.

This car WAYYYYYYY Before I even had a HOPE to get into the NSX was my Poster Child dream car! How amazing is to achieve this! lol
