2012 Austin Texas NSXcraze

Boostedtaco, you can borrow her anytime you like once the agree value is paid in full.
:smile::wink:

Thanks for the very gracious offer. But i'll take mine to the meet.

Put me down as a maybe on Opt 1 or 2 and Plan B. I need new rear tires. Anyone with some 7 spoke oem wheels they wanna let me borrow?

plan baby, plan...

Option-1: Nov. 2-4 / 2012 is a go! I will be N/A, so unfortunately I can't host any NSX'ers for this Fall 2012 NSteXpo/NSX'Craze. I will try to get back for at least a day, if anything: to see all the NSX's!

Once Ko-nsx is back in town this week, we're all gonna get together & iron-out the details. With that said, the Friday night to Sunday evening schedule will be more-or-less what's already been posted on the earlier pages of this thread; only things left to finalize are where & when.

With regards to hotel accommodations, a good central area is the Domain & Arboretum area near 183N & Mopac-1. It's a shopping, eating, lifestyle area; NSX parking wouldn't an issue at all whatsoever. Also, the general area is literally that- central, about 10-15 minutes to downtown / Town Lake, 10-15 minutes to N Austin / Lake Travis, and it's near all the major highways for those coming in from out of town. The following can help price/compare hotels: Hotels.com & Priceline.com.

It's also worthwhile noting that November 2-4 weekend is also the F1 Abu Dhabi GP. There will be viewing parties for the actual race on Sunday, Nov. 4th. There's usually a late morning / early afternoon (11am - 2pm) gathering north (Cool River Cafe - Parmer Lane) & downtown (The Ranch - W. 6th).

thanks for the post O'. Im in Rio waiting on my flight to leave. I'll be glad to get away from this slow ass dial up internet speeds!!!! BTW, i have a FULL house of people. Im in the Cedar Park, if any one wants to know. Its further north but right next to Hill Country. I plan on helping people find hotels with good parking and security. There a a few new well lit ones not far from my house. Plus i can get 6(i think) cars in my driveway if anyone needs to leave a car at my place. I can help shuttle some people.

Hey José, it's actually Saturday Nov-3, right? My gf and I want to do the Formula Run, too. We'll see you there Sunday. I'm pretty sure we will walk rather than run so please wait for us at the finish. :)

Nice! I'll be pushing the double-wide with M&E! I'm sure they'll be yelling at me to go faster! Monica is running as well.

You're right it is Saturday. My mistake.

Where have I been?

Terry just pointed this out to me.

Lemme read through & figure out what's happening and if I can go...

I'm BOOKED!

If you plan on Staying at Aloft, they have a few rooms left. Just call: 512-491-0777
and ask for the Promotion Code: Better Tomorrows which is 40% off your 2nd night
rate. $169.00 1st night and $101.40 for the 2nd night = $270.40+tax / Average of
$135.20 per night PREPAID!

I checked the Hilton Chains (Homewood, Embassy & Hampton) in the area and they
had some that were $15-20 lower per night but I'm unsure about the security.

Aloft has mobile security and I'm sure we can get some parking assigned together
if I have a head count. Thus far I believe there are 3 of us staying there.

a total car count and they'll have no Problem Roping off private parking for us.

Please add your name to the list below if you're staying at ALOFT:

1. Single Samurai
2. REDNA2X

Fridays Nights meetup spot will be at Twin Peaks Restaurant in Round Rock, Texas. I have 20 parking spots in front of the building reserved. This is a centrally located spot off highway 35, easy access for those coming from out of the Austin area. Plenty of hotels along I-35.

What time are you folks departing from Dallas? Are you all taking I35 down? If so I can try and latch to the group while on the highway or play highway patrol and wait till I see a bunch of El Caminos with a rear hatch glass

I thought this was the Austin Texas NSXCraze - Round Rock is WTFOT? If people are staying at the ALOFT why not do something at the Domain (Jollyville area) where everyone is staying. Last time we went to Bone Daddy's which is really close, there is a new great place named Cover 2 which is also very close.

It's extremely hard to satisfy everyone. Twin peaks location is(for hotels and such) right off I-35 and we have great parking. Also Twin Peaks is about 15 mins from The Domain. We looked at a few other spots and chose twin peaks. I don't remember any of the crazes friday night meets being at Bonedaddys, but last year the entire Houston caravan got lost on the way up trying to hit Mopac, trying to avoid those mishaps this year.

No Problem, Glad to help, I figured there were a few more guys like me
that would sleep a bit better knowing their NSX was not squeezed in
between an Expedition and a Escalade out of clear site.

I just have to give the Manager a total car count early the week of the event.
