Well I have started looking for my next NSX and I have noticed one for sale at Rocky Mountain Auto-sport in Denver. I was able to speak with the owner/sales manager and in our conversation he mentioned another interested party had a friend who currently owned an NSX come by to check out the...
I can only speak from personal experience, but as a previous owner who is thinking of taking the plunge again I sold my 91' for roughly what I paid after 2 years of ownership($28-$30 range). From what I have seen of the NSX market 97-01 NSXs are still going in the $50k range and I can't see...
Once upon a time in a galaxy
far far away exhaust tips looked like that
and it was cool. Personally its not for me
but I admire your commitment tothe "keeping it real" OEM look.
This thread is worthless without pics:biggrin:  just kidding man, the car looks great. Made me miss it when I saw you drive away. I was just reading how they stopped making the Model 5s so those Advans might be worth something now.
I would think the car was in pretty bad shape if it needed nearly $12k:eek: to bring it back in to average condition. I would think that the figure may be even higher if the $26900 is just what he has into the car so far. I would wait and spend a little more on a car with a less sorted history.
Personally, I think the deposit means little to nothing. Unless the deposit was explicitly non-refundable I would continue to pursue the deal. If you work with Fred or someone else, ask to have you offer considered. On a vehicle which is in-stock a deposit is likely good for only 24hrs...
Such scams seem commonplace for all types of items on eaby, I don't know if anyone has check lately but the most recent set of false NSX adds state "free night with a whore with purchase" and some pretty detailed pictures.
I think you might be very surprised. I know of quite a few supercar owners who have yet to see triple digit speeds or try 0-60 sprints but they sure make it to starbucks a lot. However, I do agree that it is unlikely that someone would spend that kind of money in performance parts and not see...
Re: Is there anything to worry if an NSX sits too long on the showfloor? (801 miles N
I would be more concerned as to why such a pristine car is missing the front spoiler as opposed to the low miles due to lack of driving.
The silver sounds super nice, interesting that they certified the yellow one even though its been in an accident. Either way I would think that with the flooring cost involved for 3 NSXs and the book value about to change(end of FEB) these guys would be very motivated to make a deal. I...
If you need peer pressure to put your decision over the top, why not just post the payoff/buyout amount and see how many people beg you to let them buy it for that price. Or you could just consider that you own 1 out of 23 silver/silver manuals produced for 2004:eek:
I had the BFGs on my last set of 18/19s very grippy tires and excellent bang for the buck, I bought mine from tirerack, don't recall how much but 225 sounds like a good deal.
I would not be concerned about the auction, these are specialty cars and they do very often wind up in the hands of dealers who are afraid they cannot move the car and or want the quick turn around of offering it to a more confident dealer. If you like the car I would estimate worst-case...
before this turns into a NSX compared to the 911 thread, I think that you have answered your own question you love the NSX and want to keep it also you don't wish to part with the "NEW" minivan, only option is to change the caddy for an auto something instead of comparing losing the caddy for...
