Isn't Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution RS over 30k?

Where the hell is the Subaru Impreza WRX STi
and Honda Integra Type-R? (oh yeah you guy's call it a RSX and don't have a R version)

Saturn replaced the plastic door panels w/ a poorly fitting, sagging, manual cloth softop on this model. I've seen the top up on the Pontiac and Saturn versions...let's just say they have something to learn from Honda and Mazda when it comes to softops.

It's funny, over there Evo's are high end cars. Here they think they are trash. A friend went over there and drove a evo 340 FQ the 340HP one and said it was like he was in a Ferrari or something :) BTW I am on my 2nd Evo a white 9 MR :)

So low prices  I'm jealous.

Try paying 100.000 USD for a Mistu Evo.... Gooo Norway...

Actually Evo/STi are considered "value for the money" cars when it comes to performance. But here, you'll never see a guy under 25 years driving one (the high price you know). Because a M3 is priced 185k USD (it does have the same performance as a Evo). A Corvette Z06 is yours for 250.000 USD (if you have a Z06 here, you are GOD and not a redneck haha :p). If you want a Carrera GT you have to work yourself up to 1.000.000 USD. God I hate this stupid system... So the way I see it, eventhough we make pretty descent money, you guys in US are able to enjoy fast cars much earlier than us :) The same with Honda S2000, Nissan 350Z+++, the drivers are often 28-years+.

The authorities here don't see the point of having a car with more than 100 hp and 1,6 engine  The sucky part is that it started way back as "luxury tax" for expensive vehicles. But now it applies to every petrol/diesel car.

It sucks, but other than being a car enthusiast, it's a lovely country to live in  So I guess I can't complain too much either...

Your car sounds really nice!

These cars being looked as "trash" must have something to do with the volume of cars of the street. You are a baller if you have a Corvette Z06, but in US people are tired of them - so how a car is looked upon with respect is pretty much which country you live in...

It's my lifelong dream to have a NSX for summercar and a STi/EVO as winterfun car. I'm getting a 1991 NSX march 15th and then I'm halfway to driving nirvana

Why did you pick a Evo and not a STi?

Ps. Speaking of Norway now, the prices are not the same in all European countries, we have the second highest prices after Denmark only.

Wow, that looks like the most top ten finishes for Pontiac ever, wouldn't be surprised if such glory finds its way into the nest marketing campaign

Isn't Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution RS over 30k?

From the website:

The RS stands for Rally Special, and this one lives up to its name with all of the performance features you want.
2006 Lancer Evolution
RS
TOTAL:
(as configured)
$29,774

Don't get it confused with the MR ($36k) or any of the other trims with the big wing, cause it'll put you over $30k
