All outside of Japan would lick their fingers after the Type-S and Type-R versions Honda never sold outside of Japan. I don't know how many NSX's have been sold in Japan, nor do I know how much special NSX's were built and obviously sold in Japan BUT WHY ARE THEY SITTING IN THE SHOWROOM of MAC, IS and other dealers? I'm pretty sure there are plenty of crazy people out there who would buy one. Are they overpriced? Do they have a bad history? Are these collector cars everybody wants to own and look at but noone wants to buy them?

People were not buying new NSX's when they were on clearance for 70K in 04-05....the ones in Japan are more like 120K.

Who is going to pay 120K for a NSX? Type-R or not.

Why would any one pay 700K for a Ferrari F40? 3 mill for a McLaren F1? Or a 120K for a 70's Chevy muscle car?

I would be happy to pay 120K for a almost new NA2 R if I have the change.

NSX is like Japanese national treasure to the older generation, keeping it in the showroom even with inflated prices just to keep it around probably makes the dealer's owner happy enough without having it sold.

Route KS have some NSX-R that is not for sale as well. (Black 05 Type R Last production with less than 50km?)

120K for a NA2 NSXR? Try more like double that much, or more. I haven't seen an NA1 R advertised for less than 100K lately. It's been a great investment for the lucky few!

carsensor.net has a nice variety of Rs.
