Wow, lot of ex-3000GT owners! Add me to the list!
I had a '95 3000GT and besides my Previa van, it was the slowest car I have ever driven! I had a Previa Van and a Volvo Turbo station wagon before the 3000GT, and I didn't even think to test drive the car before I bought it. It looked fast and the 218hp that it had seemed like alot at the time, but the car was so heavy! My station wagon was definitely the faster car! I then traded my Station Wagon for a Acura 3.0CL when it 1st debuted. It was way faster than the 3000GT! I had to do something! Well, that was when I decided to trade it in for an NSX. Best decision I ever made.
FYI
It was indeed FWD, and Edmunds tested the non-turbo going 0-60 in 8.5 seconds.
Besides the 3000GT, here are my other cars, past and present. Notice how the 3000GT changed my life.
