What's the other sport cars that you have/had beside the NSX?

For me, it is the MR2, 2nd generation. Great car for the money, easily affordable. It is like a mini NSX. After all, it is mid-engine, reliable, fast, good looking, a great daily driver, and real easy to turn into a track car. However, one problem is, unlike the NSX which is more heavy, hence easier to deal with in rainy condition. The MR2, on the other hand doesn't like water too much, and if you have some bad tires when you run over the water, you are asking for trouble, big time. Think about doing 360 degree turn on the street; UGLY. However, it is great to have any two sport cars combination, as you can enjoy the differences among two vehicles, and learn how to be a good driver with them.

Still have my '88 NA RX7. Trading it in for a '87 Turbo RX7 that I'm looking at or a '91 NA MR2. Definitely fun cars! Can't make up my mind yet though. Just a little play car until I get an NSX. :)

Dan,
get the 91 NA MR2. I prefer it because it is pretty good looking, and reliable to top it off; a little bit more so than the RX7 as far as I know. What you can do to increase top end is taking out the spoiler on the 91 Mister 2. Less drag, and that alone should give you about +5 mph. I tried in with my 91 MR2, then painted it metallic silver; love it. Or if you have the need for more than two people, then an M3 is great.

A 95 Stealth, which was sold after getting my 02 Mustang GT. Currently my dream garage would be: MKII MR2, NSX, and F355 coupe. Mid-engine 2-seater sports cars all the way, baby! :)

Had a Porsche 944 Turbo, 928S4, 930 Slantnose, 911C4(still have) Corvette (don't dog me for that one), and of course the NSX.

Maybe the CLKs don't count as sports cars. Looking at this list, I think I may need psychological help. I've also had a few sedans/wagons/SUVs. The car market is actually boring right now. Nothing new and exciting (that I can afford) on the horizon....although the new Lotus might be fun.

Those are some impressive lists. If you include 4 passenger coupes with "sporty" dispositions I've had:
1)1964 Ford Falcon Futura with 260 V8
2) 1967 Ford Mustang fastback with 289 V8
3) 1974 Fiat 124
4) 1992 Prelude 2.0
5) 1959 MGA 1500
6) 1992 NSX
7) 2002 S2000
8) 2003 Accord Coupe 6-spd
"to all the cars I've loved before...I wish I could have kept them all" (except maybe the Fiat)

You guys are having way too much cars, too much fun. Some very impressive number, indeed. I think the only two problem some of you will face is deciding what to drive in the morning? and how to convince the wife to let you have all those cars? if you are married that is.

87 Camaro
90 Corvette
96 Corvette LT4
00 Corvette C5 Coupe
92 NSX
95 Eclipse GSX
00 Celica GTS

The NSX and the LT4 are the two I miss the most.

Man, you folks are promiscuous! :D Every car I've ever owned:

240Z (3.0L w/triple Mikuni side-drafts)
95 NSX-T
99 NSX-Z
95 BMW M3
95 Dinan S3 M3

And I still own the latter three! :p

1995 Mitsubishi 3000GT with 330HP w/ NOS. I sold it because front wheel drive sucks on sports cars, I only liked it in the weather. Since there's only been 1 non-raining day in May on the east coast, I kinda regret getting rid of it.

Quiet a few Porsches, BMW, and Corvette in the mix. However, i don't see any Ferrari yet, guess you guys must hate the reliability and maintenance cost.

1986 RX-7
1991 Miata
1993 RX-7 twin turbo
1997 Ingegra GS-R
2000 S2000
1995 NSX-T

These are the only cars I have owned, listed in the order of ownership. Needless to say I am unconcerned about practicality. Well, thats not really true, I just bought a 1987 Subaru GL-10 Wagon to lug my dog around in and otherwise drive in bad weather, etc.

3000GT & Stealth

FuryNSX said:
Yeah, no kiddin'. If I'm not mistaken, non-VR4 3000GTs were Front Engine, Rear Drive, right?

All naturally aspired 3000GT's and Dodge Stealth's were front engine / front wheel drive. I have owned both a stealth and 3000GT. The Stealth R/T and 3000GT VR-4 were 4wd, Twin Turbo, and All wheel steering. I was serioulsy considering buying a VR-4 untill I saw the weight on it. Almost 4,000lbs.!!!!! Great cars though.
