Well I'll tell you what is/was happening in Iraq. ALMOST every Marine, (I cant speak for the rest) thinks the war is BS. I thought there must be a bigger reason, maybe bush wanted to finish what his dad couldnt, maybe it is something bigger, who knows, but really all we ever did was walk around and look for weapons cashe's. We talked to the locals about who is who, they would lie, Iraqies are known to just tell you what they think you want to hear, They did it before we arrived also.they are like puppy dogs too, they poop everywhere . That is it. walk around and wait to get blown up. I think I was there a week before I got blown up. But heres the kicker, I coulda got jacked up in any profession. So I say whatever...Most army guys get killed because they dont want to shoot and kill someone "innocent" because they will just get court-marshalled and spend 30 yrs in levenworth, the Marines on the other hand have good leaders that will let them kill for their own saftey and somehow they have a way of making it work. For that the Marines get single'd out more. You just dont hear about it because its not a daily thing like it is with army of one folks. so what did we do. well its like waiting your turn in line for a very crazy rollercoaster, except this ride is a bloody painful one. Trust me, I really wish the war had a reason, but it doesent. I dont think it was long after the war started that people began to question why we were there. And since its not a voulenteer leave force, just voulenteer join, well your kinda stuck. The population didnt seem to care enough to speak out enough to get us home, so I guess I dont care that the population is now paying me forever.

I would have way too many questions but I guess one of the biggest questions would be:
"Where is all the money going? We're a bigger, wealthier nation now than we ever have been and yet our schools stink, our infrastructure is crumbling, and we can't seem to find the money to take care of the veterans who are returning home from war."
