The guys on Speed TV tonight suggested that perhaps Honda is trying to live up to its eco-livery by reducing its fuel usage by skipping the Q3 qualifying session.
Well, as I said before, perhaps Honda will pull something out of their arse later in the season and be more than a midfield winner like last year. However, I too am glad to see the Honda B team performing so well.
Honda might be doing crappy in formula1 but for super gt(jgtc) the five nsx's qualified 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 6th. Its almost guaranteed that one honda is bound to win the first race of the season for super gt. This year it seems like honda will crush nissan and lexus toyota and win the championship in super gt(jgtc)
OMG I miss being able to see JGTC!!!!!!! Does anyone have any clue how I can get my hands on the races?!?!?!
Am in Japan pretty regularly these days (3x in last 6 months, 2x in April, etc) and will try to follow this as well. We had the Nismo GT500 cars on display in Yokohama in early March - pretty cool .Honda might be doing crappy in formula1 but for super gt(jgtc) the five nsx's qualified 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 6th. Looking at today's practice #2 timesheets, Button and Barrichello were 14th and 15th, and 1.7 seconds off of the front running Ferrari. Frick, both Super Auguri cars were faster. What's going on with Honda F1?
