What Color NSX Would You Like to See?

We know Acura has added one new color each of the past three years: thermal orange pearl, indy yellow pearl, and now long beach blue metallic. If they continue dribbling out new colors, what would YOU like to see next? Either a color so spectacular it would actually get you to buy one, or that you think would make a real buzz in the marketplace?

you have mod powers now?

+1 for purple. Good purple though, not the darn near black on the new TLX.

if not purple, something vibrant that will contrast all of the ducts and grilles

Yeah, God help us all!

Anyway, do you have any photos of other manufacturers' purple that illustrate what you mean? You've seen more 2nd gen NSX's than any of us, so I definitely respect your opinion. What would be an example of the color you mean that would contrast well with the ducts and grille (other than white, yellow, and orange)?

PMC should look at old Fiesta pics...you will see some brighter greens and purples....

sorry for all of the links to PTS cars, but they have the widest variety of colors.
I could definitely see the purple or green.
Those gray, flesh type colors don’t do anything for me.
Metallic black would be awesome.
They really need to open it up to whatever the customer wants and is willing to pay.

The purple is tough, because I like that Ferrari purple, that Porsche purple, AND the "almost black" purple on the upcoming TLX. But I suspect that most customers who want a purple car want a very specific purple car, and are not going to get a "slightly different" purple.

I agree with NbyNW on the flesh colors, but do know they are very popular on Bimmers, for instance. (I also agree that metallic black would be awesome, but would probably have to be a $6k upcharge andaro paint process to make it suitably different from the basic black they already offer.)

And while I'd never buy one in a million years, I agree that some type of attention-getting green would seem to be a natural addition to the palette.

Toyota offered a striking metallic blue ('electric blue') in the first model year of the MR2 (1985 in the USA). I haven't seen anything quite like it since. I would've preferred that over the new Long Beach Blue Pearl.

How did that "electric blue" compare to nouvelle blue pearl? I find the nouvelle striking in certain angles and lighting conditions...

Midnight Pearl, Brookland Green, and Magnum Gray for sure.

No purple. My friends mother looked at a gen 1 purple. She said the car looks like an eggplant.

I like Casino a lot and perhaps a different shade of gray like Sebring, Kaiser, or Silverstone. Honda can market it as heritage color again. There is so much marketing of the term heritage I think they can do the term justice by bring back a heritage edition of the car altogether , not just paint. With updated styling to reflect the timeless NA1 design with screaming naturally aspirated engine and weight in at 3350 lbs and no autonomous tech.

I do like that dark cherry pearl, like the Iron Man convertible franken-NSX (or my beloved ZDX), and think it would look spectacular on the NSX.
