Anyone out there had any luck with removing those UGLY warning stickers on the sun visors? I've read an earlier post that suggested using alcohol ... that hasn't worked well so far. Anyone find the "trick?"

Somebody on s2ki.com (S2000 site) made up a bunch of fake stickers a few years ago. Things like "Passangers may be prone to hurling during high speed maneuveres" with details and international symbols. They looked like the real deal, were funny as hell, and exactly covered the ugly OEM visor stickers.

Hmmm...maybe someone on prime will run with the idea.

In my car, which my mom drove for its first 16 years, my dad sprayed some type of black paint over the stickers and they are almost impossible to notice. It's much better looking than I would have imagined. I can take a picture later. He does not remember what paint he used.

Interesting...looks like covering them is the prevailing option ... Has anyone tried acetone? I realize you're going to need to be very careful because the acetone can eat through the visor itself.

Ok...I found this on the internet, and absolutely swear by it for removing stickers, tape etc. I highly recommend it for anything that has adhesive that you need removed. The best part is that the item/sticker is reusable. What sold me was the demonstration where he sticks duct tape to a tissue, and removes it without damaging the tissue. Try it...spread the word.
