Part of the reason you got such a good price is that no dealer wants to keep an unsold '02 model-year in their showroom when they recognize they will have a hard enough time selling the '03s that are rolling in. Therefore, the timing of your purchase also played a factor in getting such a good price. You got an '02 car instead of an '03; however, given that there is no difference between the '02 and the '03 model year in terms of performance and/or upgrade, and given that the car you bought was essentially "new" vis-a-vis- mileage, I think you got a great deal!! I honestly had mixed feelings about the new NSX design. But, the more I see it the more I'm in love with it. Kinda like the new RSX. Kinda grows on you.

I agree about the facelift. I was definitely not a fan of it when it first came out, but it definitely grows on you the more you see it in person. I think it was a good refresh. The RSX grows on you as well. I've definitely grown to prefer the RSX to the Integra.

You did Great. I picked up my 02 Yellow at the end of January. I got the CD player, remote entry, and the dealer also threw in the wheel locks, and touch up paint. I leased the car, but the cap cost was 74,000. So you beat me by $1,000, but I've already put almost 2,000 miles on the car, and the smile is still there. You've got great taste in color, if I do say so. Yesterday, one of my local policemen was talking to me in one of the stores in my town, he was gushing about the car, wanted to know how I liked it compared to my previous car (C5 convertible, also yellow)I told him, while the vette was brute force, this was pure finesse. He knew alot about the car, except wanted to know when they had resumed importing them. When I got my 02, Acura was running a $7,500 incentive, I don't think that's currently in place, so you did a very effective negotiation. ENJOY!!!!

I almost bought that color too! Drove 800 miles and the dealer in Cali wouldn't let me take the car without paying California taxes.
He then said I might get charged again when I go to register it in Utah. So got I got a yellow one from the east side.
But you got a great deal.

We had snow on Monday, and just crappy rain since, I didn't drive the NSX on Monday, but drove it yesterday, and just got into my office today (it's in the underground garage here at work). I think you've got it all wrong, having only 80 miles means that you haven't been enjoying it, so I win!!! Yeah, I didn't have to pay luxury tax, or shipping, but I do have the black interior too. I think that had it been available, I would have taken the yellow/yellow, but I like the combo I have just fine. I hope that the weather clears, and allows you to "catch me" soon.
