John,
I figured as much. I'm not in the position to buy right now, I'm looking for early to mid next year. I don't have the space as of yet (transition from condo to house). It's been either an NSX or 996 GT3 for me either way.
Your car is pretty much built to perfection... do you have any doubt you'll regret your decision if you do indeed sell?
Doubts? Don't talk to me about doubt. This is a car I absolutely love. I know I will feel like a sack of shit when she goes. I bought it with the intention of making it into the "perfect" NSX (in my eyes) from its humble, jaded past. I spared no expense to build it, and I feel quite satidfied to know I did everything right. I learned a lot about NSXs and cars in general in the process and made a heck of a lot of good friends in the process. I will get back into another one in the future but my old man side is starting to say to me it will be a stocker. I love these cars but a tuned attention screamer doesn't agree with me anymore.
In the meantime the prospect of simplifying my life with less cars and more space is really attractive, thus the reluctant decision to sell. My dream result is to find a true NSX guy to sell to who will keep it the way it is and just enjoy my work.
