POOHbear-How about the Starbuck's at Culver and Walnut in Irvine. Everyone know's that location.

It has been our meeting place for most of our past events. If it is OK, I can provide address and direction.
Please make sure you charge up your club radio. It'll be a long drive and lonely one if you don't have it. You'll be wondering why sometimes we go slower when we are being informed by the V1 of radar signals.
Someone else can pick another stopping point near the Burbank area. We can also pick up stragglers on our way up. I believe we are taking 5 N and 14 N, right?

Now if I can borrow a L/XL helmet from someone (um...emvanderpol?), his lunch will be on me.
Regarding tech inspection, the dealer said everything is fine when I bought the car last month. There's about 1/4" tread left on the Falkens. Is this a problem?
I can meet you guys in Burbank if you stop there, or at that McDonald's before Magic Mountain. About 6:30ish I assume? Who's in the LA crew?
Again, thanks for the hard work, Jim. Looking forward to meeting everyone!

If they have a camera they can take photos. They can eat, read a book or a magazine, talk to other bystanders, other than that there is really nothing to do unless he/she is riding in the car with you. It will probably be very cold and windy out at Willow so they should be prepared with a heavy jacket, a hat, Chap-stick and lots of water.SilverOne said:For those that have done this, I am wondering if we bring a passenger along, will they be bored?? I am planning to have some instructor assistance for some of the laps, is there anything for the passenger to do other than to watch the cars endlessly go around in circles?
thanks for any info.

Pulp Story Teller said:Don't forget ski gloves and long underwear, just in case. Willow can get real cold in December!

It would be great if I could meet ya'll when you pass through Long Beach. I could catch up with you at the Atlantic Ave on ramp on the 405.
It would be great if you could call me on my cell phone when you reach the 405/605 interchange to give me a heads up and then again when you are approaching the Atlantic Ave on ramp. This way I could hop on the freeway without slowing you down.
PoohBEAR said:EVERYONE!!!! Please DO NOT go to the McDonald's @ the second meeting point. We've found out that it is about 30 minutes further than the 14 freeway.
If you can't meet us at the first meeting point, please go directly to the track or we can pick you up along the 405 pass through....PoohBEAR sowwie..
From Los Angeles- Take the 5 north and take 14 north and pass Palmdale, take Rosamond exit and make a left turn, about 3 miles turn right at track entrance
