Speed Trial 12/27...Start YOUR Engine!!!

Chris & Scott; my helmet is a Fulmer AF-S7. Full face with a clear flip up shield that can be removed (with difficulty). I also got a extra tinted shield since the fit is so snug sunglasses don't fit well while wearing. Have used it at 2 auto-x's and NSXPO and am very happy. I learned a medium was a good fit and felt good. All the helmet sites fitting charts said I should order large so I was glad I tried it on first. I think the helmet was $129 and the extra shield was $25. Also came with carry bag.
 
Wish I could make the event-- I am heading back East for Christmas though... back to the snow and cold weather. blah!

Is this event strictly for NSX, if not I could probably get 3 guys (944turbo/pantera/supra turbo) to join and maybe help subsidize the cost.

This event is open to public! We will have our own run group, as long as we show up with 20 cars or more. Your freinds are welcome to join us. They will be in the same run group with us! Let say, if we don't show up with 20 cars or more. No worry :( I will add our driver instructor in front to lead us the right lines!:D

Tips!
This is not a race! There will be no pasting people on corner turns. The only chance in pasting is on the straight way!
The person are being past will have to let off there gas. (Do not slam on your brakes) slowly pull to your RIGHT, and let the guy past through.
For more instruction will announce at driver's meeting at 8.00am.

hi everyone,
i just got confirmation on all your questions and info's:

1. if it rains, event will still go on. if track is shut down due to too much rain, then it will either be postponed to a later date or a refund in full if there are no zero track time. if we get shut down half way, the track will refund half depend what time it would get shut down.

2. tech inspection, we can have it done with our own shop/technician. if we dont have one, do it yourself. the track tech fee will be waived for this time as a promotional invite. the next time, we will have to pre-tech ahead of time with designated pre-tech stations.

3. confirmed price is $100 for us and us only. register via online NOW ASAP. Remeber to leave a memo for tommy $100 for nsx member's! and if we can get up to 20 entries, we can have our own run group. if not there maybe others that will fill in the empty spots. space is very limited, so HURRY guys.

4. dont forget the track charges $10 at the gate entrance.

5. bring extra fluids, brake fluid, engine oil, power steering, etc.

6. prepare hot and cold weather and bring drinking water.

7. take your time driving up, a lot of cops! driver meeting is 8am, it usually takes about 1.5hour drive from LA.

8. there is high octane at the track and a regular gas station near by.

the reason we need to hurry and register online is because there are limited spots as we speak. and tommy cannot hold the spots open for us just by word of mouth. as soon as we commit by registering, the registration will close.

when registering:
-put on the comment section "NSX Prime".
-click on the $120 amount and as long as we have NSX Prime on the comment section, it will be discounted to $100 for us and us only.

FYI, thought I was a bonehead, gone through the registration and paid with credit card, and got the payment confirmation page, but I didn't see any comment field!

There is a 2nd STUSA registration form that comes after the payment registration. Thought I would pass on the info, so others won't be confused.

I just signed up this afternoon. My question is that even I put in "NSX Prime" in the comment area, I still got a confirmation email stating that I have been charged $120.

Did I do something wrong? :confused:
 
I think it's the same for all of us. Come to think of it where was Calvin tonight?:D Hopefully when billed to each of our cards hopefully it's correct. Or a free pass at the gate!

yes, dont worry. the automation of the registration will say $120. but before processing, it will be adjusted manually.
