From Los Angeles- Take the 5 north and take 14 north and pass Palmdale, take Rosamond exit and make a left turn, about 3 miles turn right at track entrance

This sounds great.., can anyone help me with finding the right helmet?? Also, how do you get a tech inspection? Is that done at the track? Or I have to find a shop to doit?

Ramon could tech your car for you at Niguel Motors no problem. He did mine before I took it to NSXPO this year.
 
For those of you that have never been to a SpeedtrialUSA event before, you are missing out. Safe, fun and the group is like family. Tommy is the man. I do the Midwest events and they are so great, that you almost don't want to tell anyone about them. You want to keep it all for yourself and select friends. But hey the more the merrier, especially NSX's. Have a great event guys!

Yes, we can tech at the race track! I belive, (TRS racing) is going to be there and inspect all cars. and if not, I will try to take care all of the NSX member and helmet inspection!

Helmet buying tips:
1. Buy the best helmet you can afford (see #6).
2. Get a helmet that has the latest certification.
3. Try-on the helmet before you buy it (stay away from mail order - unless they have a return policy for fitment)
4. Use an auto helmet for auto racing and a M/C helmet for M/C riding.
5. The helmet should fit snug but still comfortable.
6. Don't pay for features you don't need.
7. All helmets are not the same, compare: sizing, features, price and availability.
8. Consider other events you may want to participate i.e.: Auto-X, road racing, go-karting. This will influence your decision on the type of helmet to buy = open-face vs. full face

Also, buy a head-sock (balaklava) keeps a majority of the sweat off the liner.

Looking at the web site for this event you need to get your car teched at one of the locations listed here and apparently it's free!!
 
DRIVER'S MEETING AT 8AM.!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have already spoke with Tommy today! Pretty much, everything is already on the process of getting all driver's on the list! The more, the better! FUN! FUN! FUN! :D

We will have free Drivers instructor! :cool:

I will volunteer for speed trial usa. for all the nsx member's only! ;)

All driver's will need to bring a helmet! If u want to ride on track, Passanger will also need a helmet as well. Gloves are options, if u have it, bring it!
Note: If u have a motorcycle helmet will be useful! I have already spoke with tommy about that. Is ok!;)


For payment wise: Everyone will register with me at the track.
Just please make sure you will be there at 8am. morning.


All driver's will need to be there at the track before 8am on the 27th, DEC. I will have to volunteer to inspect all NSX cars!
Driver's meeting will be at 8am after inspection. We CANNOT miss that!! It is very important!
After driver's meeting, we will wait for our annoucement run group, and lady's and gentleman, Start your engine!:D

For meeting up with the driver's from O.C, Poohbear, will announce on board! Thanks cav.;)

great suggestions, now any particular stores or shops that you recommend in the OC area for purchase? I've been to Autobacs, doesn't seem like they have alot of selections.

SilverOne-I bought mine at AutoBacs. You want to try it on, don't attempt to buy it online. Mine fits great but is much smaller then I would have ordered guessing online.

Gil, which helmet did you end up getting? I am considering the Bell M2 that are selling for $299 from Helmet city. Steve R. recommended that one. Any other models I should consider?
